For another day or two, the Mueller investigation was once again the top headline. It’s since been dwarfed by real news, but that hasn’t stopped liberal media from milking it for all it’s worth.
Unfortunately for the Washington Post, that relentless coverage revealed their deceptive practices. They uncovered information that undermined the validity of one of Mueller’s key witnesses. They accidentally published the truth (for a change), and then had to work quickly to hide the damaging words. Let’s take a look at what was said and see what we can learn from it.
The Report
The Associated Press released a story in the middle of March, and the Washington Post published it. The story discussed the breaking news of Mueller’s latest witness, George Nader. In it, they explained that Mueller intercepted Nader when he was at Washington Dulles Airport. Nader decided to cooperate with the investigation, and Mueller is looking heavily into a pair of meetings with Nader in 2016.
One of those meetings was with Russians. The other was with Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon. Neither of them involved Donald Trump. You can see that this is dicey as best, but the media is always hungry for ways to keep the Russian story from dying, so they jumped on it.
Very quickly, the Post deleted the story without an official detraction. If it weren’t for some crafty individuals with the foresight to archive the story, we wouldn’t have learned the important part. The Post’s story also revealed that Nader was convicted of pedophilia in Prague. He was found guilty on 10 separate counts of sexual crimes with minors. It seems the Post didn’t want this information to be able to discredit Nader’s testimony and potential evidence of Russian collusion.
Media Response
The Post acted quickly, but they were behind the curve. The New York Times actually bothered to read the article before posting their own version. From the start they conveniently omitted Nader’s crimes. It seems the Post accidentally performed some accidental journalism in the midst of their propaganda campaign.
Several other mainstream outlets have also reported on Nader, and none of them had a word to say about pedophilia. That seems like a pretty big free pass to give someone who has committed one of the most disgusting crimes on the planet.
As it turns out, there was only one source of news that got the story right from the start. It was the folks at the Daily Wire who saw the article and archived it. You may be familiar with their work, but they are far from a mainstream news outlet. Once again, mainstream media has been caught red-handed manipulating facts to promote a political agenda.
The Bigger Picture
This is more than just corrupt media doing corrupt things. Their selective reporting is helping to hide an egregious breach of justice. Trump has been subjected to a witch hunt on a level that has never been seen in our country before, and Mueller has been at the forefront of it all. Originally, he was ordered to investigate any evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russians. It was a reasonable investigation considering the limited information we had on how exactly Russia interfered with our election. Mueller quickly established that Trump and his campaign did not collude with Russia.
Rather than wrap up a special investigation (as the law dictates), Mueller mutated it to suit his personal agenda. His investigation has morphed several times, and recent escalations have yet again broken precedent. Mueller seized data from Trump’s personal lawyer and made history. This is important for two reasons. First, it violates attorney-client privilege unless Mueller can prove that Trump and Cohen plotted crimes together. That seems unlikely.
The second issue with this seizure is that it demonstrates a personal attack on a President who has shown no evidence of criminal activity. The Democrats have opened the floodgates, and Presidents from both parties can look forward to intrusion and obstruction of their efforts moving forward.
The only way to truly contain the damage at this point is for Trump to weather the storm. Once the investigation fully exonerates him (assuming it ever ends), then Trump will be free to level the Department of Justice and eliminate everyone engaging in these corrupt practices.
If he gets the chance to raze everything and rebuild it, we might finally be free of the indoctrinated zealots that helped Obama run the most corrupt regime our country have ever faced. In the meantime, we’ll be forced to continue to watch mainstream media beat this dead horse into the ground.
