It is such a relief to wake up every day and realize that no matter what the media says about President Donald Trump, it is a complete, bald faced lie. It used be such a strain a few years ago when you would watch the news and you had to question which parts were true. But these days, you no longer have to deal with that struggle. If the media says anything about President Trump, you can just automatically assume that the exact opposite is the truth!
Take the big Trump-Russia-WikiLeaks-collusion bombshell last week. CNN breathlessly reported that the Trump campaign received access to the DNC emails from WikiLeaks before they were publicly released. Assuming that WikiLeaks is somehow “Russian” (which has never been proven and has only ever been alleged by the Democrat Party and John McCain), the exclusive report from CNN was to be the nail in the coffin of the Trump administration.
Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA) tweeted that CNN’s WikiLeaks “bombshell” amounted to an illegal campaign contribution and therefore, President Trump was going to jail! Lieu’s message was retweeted more than 7,000 times and liked more than 15,000 times. The rest of the media networks jumped in and started reporting the exact same thing.
There were just two little problems with CNN’s exclusive Trump bombshell. First, a guy who is not affiliated with WikiLeaks or Russia in any way emailed a link to the WikiLeaks files to the Trump campaign. Second, CNN got the date of that email message wrong. It turned out that the Trump campaign received an email about the WikiLeaks dump a day after it was published on the internet. Which means that the Trump campaign found out about the WikiLeaks DNC email dump at the exact same time as everyone else in the world.
Everything about the report was a lie. The truth was the exact opposite of what CNN reported.
Not to pick on CNN, but they did the same thing to Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently. They reported — again, breathlessly — that Sessions incorrectly filled out some forms on meetings that he had with the Russian ambassador when Sessions was a US Senator. Sessions told reporters that the FBI had instructed him that he didn’t have to disclose those meetings on those specific forms. All of the media dogpiled on the story, claiming that a Trump official was covering up “problematic” (meaning secret and nefarious) meetings with Russian bigwigs.
Except Sessions was telling the truth and he even had a memo from the FBI with those instructions on how to fill out the form. The truth was exactly what Attorney General Sessions had stated. CNN and all of its cohorts lied. Not just a little bit. They lied completely, totally and with sheer and utter malice.
And let’s admit it: The fact that we know that the sanctimonious, holier-than-thou politicians and media figures who purport to be our moral and intellectual betters are in fact a bunch of depraved, deviant sexual perverts… feels really good! The fact that they’re all getting fired or resigning in clouds of shame is just the icing on the cake.
Matt Lauer, freshly fired from NBC News, had his office set up like a pervy dungeon and everyone at NBC knew about it. Charlie “The Towel-Dropper” Rose of PBS (funded by your tax dollars!) carried on as a lecherous serial harasser for years behind the scenes of his incredibly boring and sanctimonious interview program; everyone at PBS knew. Garrison “Gropy” Keillor of public radio did some things that must have been truly sick and twisted; NPR has scrubbed decades’ worth of his programs from the internet now. Anti-Trump reporters from too many newspapers to count have now been fired due to their actions against female staffers.
Not to mention Senator Al “Stuart Smalley” Franken (D-MN), the only US Senator to ever wear a diaper on the outside of his clothes. Plus, Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) who was credibly accused by the Obama Justice Department of visiting underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.
Anthony Wiener, Bill Clinton, we could go on and on, but there’s no need to. We can just go on the internet and find out which media or political Democrat will be next to go down in flames as their dark deeds are exposed.
We can all stop worrying about what our media “betters” report about President Trump. Just hold up a mirror to everything they’re saying and realize that the truth is the exact opposite of what the fake news perverts are reporting.
