Three headlines tell the real collusion story in Washington and Donald Trump is the victim, not the villain. Lest one think only Trump enthusiasts would endorse such a conclusion, two #NeverTrump sources like the National Review and The American Spectator ran the following stories: John Brennan Colluded with Foreign Spies to Defeat Trump and The Real Collusion Story.
In a perfect journalistic world, headlines like those would have been discussed, analyzed, and confirmed by the majority of America’s mainstream media until the “Trump colluded with the Russians” narrative was put to rest once and for all. Unfortunately, Trump haters and their allies in the mainstream media live in a different world.
The Mueller investigation drags on toward the midterm elections and there is finally proof of collusion. One political party did collude with foreign powers to sway the election — Hillary’s.
At Hillary Clinton’s beckoned call stood the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan. Before assuming that position, Brennan was chief counterterrorism advisor to President Barack Obama. His official title was Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, and Assistant to the President.
The Guardian leaves no doubt that Brennan wasn’t just a supporter of Hillary Clinton. He was “the American progenitor of political espionage aimed at defeating Donald Trump. One side did collude with foreign powers to tip the election — Hillary’s.”
Both the National Review and The American Spectator conclude that men like Brennan and later James Comey came to the same misguided conclusion – Clinton was going to be the next president. With both an ideological and practical motive, Brennan teamed up with Estonian and British spies to smear Donald Trump and cripple his campaign.
Mike Morell, the former deputy director of the CIA, quickly saw through the now infamous Steele dossier noting that Steele had no direct access to the Russian sources he claimed. Morrell, a staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton, summarily called the Steel Dossier “junk.”
Driven by his disdain for Trump’s call to ban refugees from Muslim countries, Brennan used bogus intelligence that has since been totally discredited as an excuse to launch a multi-agency investigation into the Trump campaign. That gave cover for an FBI probe of Trump Tower computer servers and for Susan Rice to spy on Trump and his people.
According to the George Neumayr of The American Spectator, “John Brennan’s CIA operated like a branch office of the Hillary campaign, leaking out mentions of this bogus investigation to the press in the hopes of inflicting maximum political damage on Trump. An official in the intelligence community tells TAS that Brennan’s retinue of political radicals didn’t even bother to hide their activism, decorating offices with ‘Hillary for President cups.’”
Just how Brennan ingratiate himself in Washington is somewhat of a mystery to many conservatives. Brennan admitted during a polygraph back in the ‘80s that he had once voted for the Communist candidate for president and he has been vocal about his love for progressive causes for years.
Brennan was an apologist for the Muslim Brotherhood with what the National Review calls his Islamophilia dating back to his college days in the Cairo. His ties to the Islamic world were solidified when he became the CIA station chief in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Having fully embraced the Clinton narrative he knew the CIA could not operate on homeland soil. To get around that restriction, Brennan teamed up with NSA director Clapper to pressure Comey and gained the blessing of Obama to organize a series of briefings for the so-called Gang of Eight — Democratic and Republican leaders in both the Senate and House.
Brennan sealed his mission when the Gang of Eight bought into Clinton’s narrative that the CIA “had information indicating that Russia was working to help elect Donald J. Trump president.”
When asked recently if she believes Trump colluded with the Russians she answered without hesitation, “I’m convinced of it.”
Brennan and Clinton know it’s a lie, nevertheless as Michael Doran of The National Review writes, “She will remain convinced until the day she dies. The alternative, a rigorous examination of conscience, is too painful to contemplate. How much longer will Hillary Clinton’s damaged psyche hold America hostage?”
