Indisputable Proof Obama Wiretapped Trump

On Saturday, March 4, 2017, President Trump tweeted from his personal Twitter account;

How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!

This is a serious accusation and it has got the media and the nation in an uproar. Even many Trump supporters like Judge Jeanine Pirro have been broadcasting tirades about how inappropriate it is for trump to make such a damning statement without evidence.

Pirro may have a point, but there are two important things to consider about this tweet from Donald Trump; first, the accusatory tweet was sent from his personal account- not from his POTUS account.

That’s significant when read correctly, it means that he is saying he believes his home and his team were spied on by the Obama White House- but that he knows he does not have evidence that will stand up in court. It means he realizes his belief that he was spied on is unproven.

The second important factor to consider is that he may, in fact, have proof of spying- gained by confidential sources.

So Donald Trump has expressed himself, in his capacity as a private citizen- not as President- that he is of the opinion that he and his team have been spied on by the public. It may be argued that Mr. Trump is not a private citizen, and has no right to speak off the cuff as such.

That may be the case, however the alleged spying would have occurred while he was still a private citizen. This grants some legitimacy to his right to speak as a citizen on what happened before he won the election.

There is just one more important question: what does the media know about the alleged wiretapping? As it turns out, quite a bit. The main stream media has been reporting on it for months.

Former CIA agent, Larry Johnson says President Trump does, in fact, have proof that the Obama administration authorized intelligence agencies to wiretap Trump Tower.

On January 19, 2017, the New York Times reported in a story entitled Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry Into Trump Associates, “The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A. and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House.

Mark Levin, a former White House insider says, “We know that Obama officials went to the FISA Court on two separate occasions to obtain warrants for Trump Tower.” He says there are two public court documents which explicitly say that the FBI sought warrants to access the electronic communications at Trump Tower.

Levin says unequivocally, “This is spying.” He goes on to say that these records expressly say that language used in the warrants asks for permission to surveil ‘persons working for Donald Trump’s campaign.’ The first FISA request named Trump in June of 2016, and was denied by the FISA court.

The Guardian reported, “The Guardian has learned that the FBI applied for a warrant from the foreign intelligence surveillance (FISA) court over the summer in order to monitor four members of the Trump team suspected of irregular contacts with Russian officials. The FISA court turned down the application asking FBI counter-intelligence investigators to narrow its focus. According to one report, the FBI was finally granted a warrant in October, but that has not been confirmed, and it is not clear whether any warrant led to a full investigation.

The second document, according to Levin, was written with greater specificity and was granted in October of 2916. It was granted, reportedly, because it was discovered that a computer server in Trump Tower was connected to two banks. The warrant was granted to examine the contents of communications with these two unnamed banks.

This begs the question, how did the FBI gain the information which told them that the server was carrying information that should be investigated? There is only one answer- they were, in fact, spying on Trump Tower before the FISA request was ever made.

According to McClatchy, five Obama Administration agencies in addition to the FBI collaborated for months to gather information from the Trump team and Trump Tower that would be damaging to the Trump campaign.

So, not only is there proof that the Obama admin. Approved the wiretaps- but the media has known about it for over a year.
