Never-Trumpers Beg Facebook to Keep Them on the Plantation

“And Moses prostrated himself before Pharaoh ZuckerGoogle, and wept like a little girl, and begged, ‘Let my people stay! We will be content with the leeks, onions and any other scraps you want to throw our way, mighty Pharaoh! We will follow your double standards! Just don’t make us leave the plantation!’” – Excerpt from the Never Trump Bible

What an astonishing bunch of wimps! A group of 63 conservative “leaders” just signed an open letter to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google, begging to be allowed to stay on the social media plantation. Haven’t these people learned anything from the 2016 election?

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg read the letter and then said, “Thank you, earth people. I will take your concerns seriously and will immediately direct my entire staff to stop prison-raping you. Super promise! Muwahahahaha!” Then he pushed the button on his elevator and descended back into his volcano lair.

If it hasn’t sunk in yet – and it obviously hasn’t for these 63 “leaders” – Mark Zuckerberg hates you. The people running Twitter hate you. The people running Google hate you. The people running YouTube hate you.

This is not just a mild hatred. It is the white-hot hatred of 10,000 burning suns. They don’t care if your business sinks into the ocean after they restrict access to your social media channel. They don’t care if you go broke and your children starve. Their attitude, based on their actions, is that they expect you to conform to their worldview. If you won’t conform, they want you disarmed so that they can line you up in front of a ditch that they just forced you to dig. Guess what happens next?

These people who claim to represent conservatives actually asked the social media giants of Silicon Valley to define hate speech. The implicit promise in that question is: We will follow your rules if you just spell them out for us, Massah! Conforming to Mark Zuckerberg’s definition of hate speech is the equivalent of agreeing to “common sense gun control” or “comprehensive immigration reform.” In other words, we allow the liberals to have everything they want while we get nothing in return.

We already know all of the left’s rules when it comes to hate speech. The following are considered hate speech by progressives:

1. Truth
2. Facts
3. Anything that makes a Democrat look bad or makes Donald Trump look good
4. Anything that makes an SJW run to the Cry Closet
5. Publishing the fact that Bill Clinton took 26 flights on the Lolita Express with convicted pedophile Bill Epstein

What ever happened to the idea that there is no such thing as hate speech and therefore speech should not be policed by anyone? Why are these people offering to conform to Facebook’s one-sided standards?

The courts have ruled that when speech offends normal people, we have to A) allow it, B) feel free to ignore it or speak out against it, and C) shut up and take it. Nothing on the left will ever be policed as hate speech by Twitter or Google, and everything on the right will be policed as hate speech, so long as we agree to let them police speech. Don’t do it!

Here is the only conservative approach to hate speech:  If we have to shut up and take it whenever some hippie burns the flag or when a bunch of geriatric nude men want to prance around in a “pride” parade, then you guys on the left have to shut up and take it when Ann Coulter factually points out that immigrants come from rape cultures or when Milo Yiannopoulos gives a speech about how feminism is worse than cancer. There is no such thing as hate speech!

Forget about anything that Mark Zuckerberg says publicly or even in front of Congress. He has already pulled the trigger and plans to eliminate all conservative influence on his platform before 2020. He doesn’t want America to have a repeat of 2016.

Don’t believe us? Facebook rolled out its new “algorithm” in January of this year. Donald Trump’s Facebook page saw its engagement drop by 45% overnight. Gateway Pundit, the 4th most influential conservative website on the planet, saw its engagement cut by 54%. The conservative website “100 Percent Fed Up” has dropped from 30 million Facebook views per month to 2 million views per month.

When you see catastrophic drops like that, it’s impossible to take Zuckerberg’s “Golly gee willikers, I am too a real boy!” routine in front of Congress seriously.

Enough with the mewling platitudes to the social media tyrants, already! Here are the two most viable responses to the censorship of conservative voices online.

First, build alternative platforms and support the already-existing alternative platforms. Gab.ai is the free speech alternative to Twitter. Idka.com is an up-and-coming social media platform from Sweden. Idka is sort of like Facebook, except it doesn’t sell all your data to other companies or spy on you when you’re on the toilet.

The second idea is this: Now that conservatives control the House, Senate and White House, we need to regulate the pants off of the Silicon Valley thought police. Do you know why there’s a wheelchair assistance bar in every public restroom in America? Because trial lawyers will sue the dickens out of any company that doesn’t comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Republicans in Congress need to support and pass a bill just like that, but which applies to social media companies. You want to treat a normal person like a pariah while treating Democrats as the source of all truth? Great, here’s your lawsuit!

Can you picture President Donald Trump shuffling up to Mark Zuckerberg, staring at his shoes and mumbling that he’d like to know how to conform to Facebook’s rules? Ain’t gonna happen!

That’s what 63 so-called conservatives just did with their open letter, though. This is an existential fight and the progressives view it as a literal fight to the death. Why play by their rules? Don’t be like those guys. If Donald Trump has shown us anything it is that we must step off the plantation if we want to win. All it takes is courage and a willingness to stop begging your enemies for scraps.
