Sanctuary City Officials could See Prison Time

Democrats want you to believe they are the only ones with a heart in politics. They claim their push for law and zones that grant protections and amnesty for illegal immigrants in the United States is for those fleeing violence or looking for a better life for their family. They falsely promise none of the illegal immigrants who come here commit crimes or take away jobs from American citizens.

But we know the truth. The Democrats only see potential voters. And as events continue to ramp up and the evidence stacks up against them- they increasingly see Americans as unlikely to vote them back into power. The 2016 election of Donald J. Trump is the prime example of this.

Democrats are so desperate to replace people who know better than to vote for them with people who have no sense of loyalty or personal investment in this country. The idea is to replace responsible citizens with people who will gladly flush the nation down the toilet just to get some handouts. This is what sanctuary cities are all about- it’s about defying federal law in order to get as many sure-thing votes into the country as possible, as fast as possible.

In the 2016 election, we saw unprecedented numbers of illegal immigrants being given access to voting booths by democrat controlled counties all over the country. It’s a wonder we were able to win in the face of all the rampant cheating that the DNC was involved in. In fact, it was a miracle.

Well, Democrats who support sanctuary cities just might be getting a bit hot under the collar as Republicans are starting to turn up the legal heat.

Now, officials behind sanctuary cities could face up to five years of prison time if a new bill announced recently is passed into law.

The Republican from Iowa, Steve King, has drafted a bill called the Libby Schaaf Act. The law is named after the mayor of Oakland who sent out an alert to the illegal immigrant population of her area, warning them that immigration authorities were descending on the city with the intention of sweeping up illegal immigrants.

It’s estimated Schaaf’s tip off allowed over 800 gang members and illegals to escape capture. It’s the sort of thing that Steve King doesn’t want to see happen again.

King told reporters, “I want lawless, sanctuary city politicians to hear this message clearly: If you obstruct ICE, you are going to end up in the cooler.”

If made into law, King’s new bill would include possible five-year prison terms for any local or state official who obstructs immigration law enforcement officials in their duties.

A vocal opponent of sanctuary cities, President Trump, has already called for the prosecution of Libby Schaaf.

The chief of ICE and Homeland Security Secretary have also petitioned for the prosecution of officials who act like Schaaf- essentially behaving like lookouts for criminals anxious to avoid the law and remain within U.S. borders illegally.

Schaaf appeared on CNN recently. She said, “We will not let anyone intimidate us. We will not apologize for our values.”

In the meantime, illegal immigrants continue to illegally collect welfare benefits which are paid for by the tax monies of self-reliant and legal American citizens. Crimes against American citizens by illegal immigrants continue to go unreported in the mainstream news outlets while remaining stylistically relevant.

Illegal immigrants continue to make up 23 percent of criminal traffic offenders. 12 percent of all violent crime in the U.S. is perpetrated by illegal immigrants.

An Arizona sheriff, Paul Babeu has this to say on the phenomenon of illegal immigration and crime, “Pinal County has followed the trend of the majority of counties across the United States, so we have seen most of our major crime statistics drop during the past few years. The one area we have not seen drop — which has seen dramatic increases in fact — is crimes tied to illegal immigration. Our high-speed vehicle pursuits have rapidly increased each year from 142 in 2007 to 340 such incidents in 2010. Marijuana seizures have spiked from a low in 2008 of about 19,600 pounds to over 45,500 pounds in 2010. My deputies are telling me more and more that they are apprehending guns and high tech communication equipment from cartel operatives.”

The crime of illegal immigrants is worse in border states, naturally. And these are areas where Democrat voters are the least populous.

At present, we are in a race. It is a race between those who hope to use the law to stop illegal immigrants from voting away our sanity and those who hope to use the law to stop this from happening.
