Long before the final vote was cast in last year’s presidential election, Hillary Clinton and her Democrat allies had convinced the media, some in Congress, and even much of the public that Donald Trump somehow stole the election by colluding with the Russians.
With the exception of CNN and Rachel Maddow, many in the party are now calling on their compatriots to be a little more low-key with talk of collusion with Russia. The reason may well be because proof of collusion is becoming more and more difficult to deny – just not in the case of President Trump.
Both The Hill and no Trump lover, The Washington Post are reporting evidence of actual collusion and possibly even illegal pay-for-play exists between Clinton, her close political allies, and Russians officials.
The Hill’s report said, “Agents were surprised by the timing and size of a $500,000 check that a Kremlin-linked bank provided Bill Clinton for a single speech in the summer of 2010.” That speech only a few weeks after Hillary Clinton helped put together a visit from high-level U.S. tech executives to help Vladimir Putin build his own version of Silicon Valley.
During her recent “it’s everybody else’s fault I lost” failed book tour, she was asked about the charges. In the only defense she has used for years, Clinton declared on C-Span, “it’s the same baloney they’ve been peddling for years, and there’s been no credible evidence by anyone.” She the declared the stories “debunked.”
But has that story been debunked? The Senate is already investigating a shady Uranium deal with Russia that won’t go away. Now there are a number of Russian-related investigations involving Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta and his brother Tony. To make matters worse for the Clintons, there is a growing body of evidence that points to possible crimes using the Clinton’s family enterprise, the Clinton Foundation.
Another reason some Democrats are now downplaying the supposed Trump-Russia connection is that independent counsel Robert Mueller has grown strangely silent. Part of that is because the investigation has found no evidence at all of the White House working with Russia.
In fact, evidence of collusion points back to another Democrat, Mr. Mueller himself. Rather than innuendo, tangible evidence has surfaced that links ultra-liberal George Soros, the Russian government, and Mueller.
A Mellon Optima L/S Strategy Fund, LLC report indicates that Mueller will profit financially should the Russian market does well. The fund was the center of wrongdoing that never faced a single FBI investigation. Who was head of the Bureau during that time? Robert Mueller.
John Solomon and Alison Spann of The Hill reported that the FBI watched as “multiple arms of Vladimir Putin’s machine unleashed an influence campaign designed to win access to the new secretary of state, her husband Bill Clinton and members of their inner circle, according to interviews and once-sealed FBI records.”
In 2006 the Department of Energy, which oversees the United States’ nuclear technology, confiscated highly enriched uranium from a smuggling operation involving one Russian firm and several Georgian companies.
Less than a year into Barack Obama’s first term, Hillary Clinton’s state department began to facilitate the transport of samples of high enriched uranium to members of the Russia’s intelligence service, the FSB. Wikileaks released a classified State Department cable in 2009 that showed the details of this transfer of highly enriched uranium. Who was tasked to transport the highly enriched uranium to the FSB? Robert Mueller.
Frank Giustra, a long-time Clinton Foundation donor, sold his uranium company to another firm, Uranium One ten years ago. That is important because Uranium One owned at least twenty percent of all the actual uranium mined in the U.S.
A year later, in the summer of 2010, Rosatom bought majority control of Uranium One, which effectively gave the Russian government-controlled entity proprietary access to one-fifth of our nation’s uranium supply. The Rosatom deal was completed in less than 90 days with no Congressional oversight hearings. A deal that was reviewed by virtually every senior Obama administration official in spite of their awareness of the Clinton connection. To make the matter more troubling, President Barack Obama reviewed the case.
The Clinton/Mueller/Russia connection goes far deeper than anyone in the Democratic Party cares to acknowledge. Perhaps this was the reason then President Obama seemed reluctant to pursue the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.
In reality, the Clinton’s have been playing fast and loose with their Russian counterparts for decades.
