America owes Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) a debt of gratitude. Back in January of 2018, Feinstein leaked (sorry, “released”) 10 hours of transcripts from the Senate Judiciary Committee’s interview with the head of Hillary Clinton’s research and fabrication department at Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson. Buried in that transcript was a tidbit of information that turned out to be a bombshell which could expose the entire plot against the presidency of Donald J. Trump.
So… Thank you, Dianne Feinstein! We know that you leaked those transcripts in an attempt to harm President Trump, but it turns out that you may have inadvertently been his savior! Sleep tight!
Simpson testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee that in his many, many discussions with the FBI, he learned that the feds had a human asset inside the Trump campaign. In other words, a mole or if you prefer the term, a spy.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) has latched onto this tidbit of information and he is not letting it go. We now know a little more about the Top Secret subpoena that Nunes and Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) sent to the Justice Department the first week in May.
They want to know who that human source was and more importantly, when that source was embedded in the Trump campaign. We already know that Obama wiretapped Trump Tower starting in March of 2016, long before any accusations of “Russian collusion” surfaced; that was before Trump had even secured the nomination and months before the FBI claims it started its investigation.
The long road that has taken us to this point, according to the FBI, started during a drunken conversation that the British ambassador overheard George Papadopoulos having in July of 2016 (“Coincidentally,” this was around the same time that Sen. John McCain leaked the fake Fusion GPS Russian collusion dossier to James Comey).
Nunes and Gowdy want to know when the FBI planted a paid snitch in the Trump campaign, because the implications of that are huge. If the spy was in place before the Papadopoulos conversation, then the FBI and the Department of Justice have been lying to the American people and Congress about everything.
Sniveling weasel Rod Rosenstein, the Deep State’s Deputy Attorney General, has opposed the latest subpoena from Gowdy and Nunes, on the grounds that revealing the source will get American spies killed overseas.
Thanks, Rosenstein! You know, that plot was more entertaining when Tom Cruise stole the “NOC List” from the CIA in the first Mission: Impossible movie, and when Daniel Craig lost the British equivalent in Spectre. It’s hip that you’re up-to-date on Hollywood spy movies, but those of us sitting at the grownups’ table are talking about real life now. No one believes that releasing the truth about the spy you embedded in a presidential campaign has critical information that will “get intelligence assets killed overseas.”
Liberal organizations have latched onto this childish “Oh, NO! Devin Nunes wants to get the American version of James Bond KILLED” argument and are running with it. Susan Hennessey of the liberal Lawfare Institute has called for Nunes to step down for trying to get American agents killed.
Former FBI agent Asha Rangappa told Wolf Blitzer on CNN that Nunes was going to get the spy from the Trump campaign killed and would also damage the FBI and CIA’s ability to recruit new members. Never-Trumpers at Commentary magazine claim that Nunes is damaging American national security and placing all our lives at risk by demanding to know the identity of the FBI’s paid spy and the date when he or she was embedded in the Trump campaign.
Their hysterics speak volumes about the damage that Nunes, a little ol’ dairy farmer from California, will do to the Deep State if he succeeds in exposing their plot against President Trump.
Here are some things we know or can infer based on this latest bombshell:
First, this Deep State operation began as a means for “President” Hillary Clinton to punish Donald Trump. The FBI and DOJ left-wingers believed all along that their girl would win the election. All of the intelligence-gathering against President Trump and his family was done so that Fuhrer Hillary would be able to punish her main political enemy after she won the election. The Deep State had no doubt that it was going to put Hillary in the White House.
By punishing Trump and imprisoning him, Hillary wanted to send a message to you and every other Trump supporter that resisting the iron hand of the Deep State would be futile. (This was remarkably like how the Bill Clinton administration treated its political opponents as well.)
Second, we have no doubt that the spy’s life is in fact endangered by Nunes’ investigation. Just not from the sources that the left is claiming. Give us a break! This was a person wandering around inside the Trump campaign. They weren’t a deep cover operative inside an ISIS terror cell or even an agent working in a Chinese nuclear plant. It was a presidential campaign.
So, how is the spy’s life in danger? Call it a hunch, but anytime someone poses a threat against Bill and Hillary Clinton, they often suffer a fatal incident of some sort. People who are set to testify against the Clintons tend to slip on a banana peel on their balcony, accidentally drop their own exercise equipment on their throat, or take a long walk to a deserted mountaintop where they commit suicide by shooting themselves in the back of the head with two different calibers of handgun.
So, yes, Nunes is endangering the spy’s life in that sense. Let’s hope that the spy is called to testify before the House Intelligence Committee before his brakes suddenly fail on a twisty downhill road.
Finally, we know that any evidence that the Mueller probe releases from this point on is tainted and false. If a legitimate investigation were under way that uncovered evidence of a crime on the part of the Trump campaign, that would have been one thing.
But this entire operation has been a setup from the very beginning. Based on the spy embedded in the Trump campaign, patriots now know that the Mueller probe has been an entrapment operation all along, not a real investigation.
