A non-scrutinizing glance at the media today will paint a bleak picture of a fractured and wholly un-united GOP. Most outlets blame the Trump campaign, accusing it of brash action and brazen remarks. Some self-proclaimed “experts” will suggest that divisions stem back further than his campaign, all the way back to the formation of the Tea Party.
But is the party really divided? Are things bleak and hopeless?
While it’s true that a few GOP members have failed to fall in step beside Trump, it’s not true that the entire party is fracturing apart. Still the few instances of mudslinging by out of touch Republicans against Trump have been seized by the liberal media as proof the party is divided.
But the GOP has been divided before and come back to triumph. Long time party supporters will recall the division created when Ross Perot ran against George H.W. Bush. Perot’s independent run for president split the Republican vote and ultimately created the Clinton Era.
We’re still facing the repercussions of that division, but it was a far cry from the destruction of the party. If anything is different now, it’s that Trump brings a blunt honesty that makes it much easier to recognize and address problems within the party.
Still, the leftist media will jump at a chance to distract the public from the continuous damning evidence that keeps coming out against Hillary Clinton. You’ll notice that the latest allegations of GOP division came when the news story broke that Hillary wasn’t getting along with her newly named VP running mate Tim Kaine.
The real division is in the Democratic party. They are the only political group in recent history to have multiple leaders resign as a result of rampant party corruption and incompetence.
Despite how many liberal news outlets will try to convince you that Republicans are abandoning Trump, or that he is irreparably behind in the polls, Trump’s bold attitude has galvanized an entirely new demographic to join the GOP.
Where the Tea Party fell short, he has succeeded, and many voters, many of whom were scorned by the disgusting proceedings of the Democratic primaries, are flocking to the one candidate they can trust to never hide.
Trump never shies away from tough issues, and many young voters are becoming much more vocal and active, inspired by his direct and honest approach. This is why unbiased polls show him doing better than ever, continuously gaining support with a momentum that just can’t be stopped.
The next time the liberal media agenda tries to convince you that there is no hope for Republicans, remember a few facts. These are the same outlets that reported Bernie was losing all along. The real truth came to light in spite of their efforts and we can see that they were falsifying data in order to discourage voters from standing against Hillary.
Don’t let them get away with the same crime twice. No matter what picture they try to paint, they have proven how corrupt they are and why they are never to be trusted.
Remembering the Stakes
While it’s important to cover the disgusting untruths spewing from liberal new agencies, it’s equally as important to remember why this election is so important. When the Republican party bounced back after the Ross Perot split, they won the presidency and Congress, and together more was accomplished in those sessions than any since.
Since Hillary has been forced to adopt several of Bernie’s policies in an attempt to placate is scorned voters, it is more important than ever to keep her socialist plans from being enacted.
These aggressive policies spell certain doom for the American economy, as Trump has pointed out. That’s why he has made his economic and tax plans very clear, and if we want to recover from the long recession that the Obama Administration forced upon us, Trump is the clear answer.
Perhaps more compelling and terrifying is the idea of Hillary running our military. She has proven unequivocally that she is not suited for an office that involves handling sensitive data or making intelligent foreign policy decisions.
Even when he was coerced into letting her off the hook, the director of the FBI still called her “extremely careless” in the way she handled classified information.
Can you imagine a woman like that being trusted with our launch codes? Or being the leader of our men and women on the ground in the Middle East?
Making sure our liberal friends and co-workers understand exactly the kind of person they want to put in charge is our duty as Americans.
