Time to Revoke the Loony SPLC’s Non-Profit Status

The George Soros-funded Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) sprang into action in the days before Christmas to alert all Americans to a growing threat from the far right. As it turns out, the SPLC Hate Tracker account on Twitter had caught on to a growing trend — a serious threat they had never before witnessed — which prompted them to send out their dire warnings.

According to the SPLC, a conspiracy of far right hateful hatemongers, racists, Ku Klux Klan members and other assorted internet monsters were spreading a message that was growing in intensity, especially in the days from December 18th through the 24th.

Please avert your eyes if you are easily triggered by tidings of joy and good cheer, because we are about to reprint, solely in the interest of the public’s right to know, the hateful message that was being tweeted with growing intensity. Are your eyes averted? Good. Here goes.

The following hateful hashtags were identified by the SPLC: #Jesus, #Christmas, #MerryChristmas, #ChristmasEve, #Bible, #CharlieBrownChristmas and #JesusIsTheReasonForTheSeason.

It would be easy to dismiss this as just more insanity from the Southern Poverty Law Center, but this is a group that has an endowment of $319 million in the bank currently. Clearly, it pays very well to spread panic among wealthy liberal donors. The real question we should be asking is, “Why hasn’t the SPLC’s nonprofit status been revoked for its clear engagement in partisan political activity?”

The SPLC has spent the past 45 years of its existence getting rich by claiming that ordinary Americans with traditional values are actually racists and terrorist threats. You, too, can “fight back” against the racists by cutting a check for the SPLC. At least, that’s what the group claims in all of its mailings. What exactly the SPLC does to fight back against all of the ordinary Americans that it is smearing is unclear. Yet fearful liberal donors continue to shell out money to this group.

To this day, the SPLC claims that the (Democrat-founded) KKK is one of largest domestic terrorist groups threatening America. At the height of its power in the 1920s, the KKK boasted almost 4 million Democrat members. Today its numbers are less than 2,000 and a large chunk of them are believed to actually be paid FBI informants. Yet the SPLC will lump virtually any conservative or pro-life group in with the KKK in its fevered pitches for money from rich scaredy-cat liberals.

Even liberals are not safe from the SPLC, if they stray away from the globalist narrative. For example, the SPLC labeled “Californians for Population Stabilization” as a hate group in February of 2017. This is an environmentalist group that believes (as all environmentalist groups USED to believe) that too much Third World immigration is bad for the environment. Just drive through any minority neighborhood in Los Angeles if you have any questions about this; the mountains of trash speak for themselves. For violating the globalist narrative that unlimited immigration is a good thing, Californians for Population Stabilization suddenly found itself on the SPLC’s hate map.

The SPLC come across as group of loonies, but they are loonies with $319 million in the bank and they wield a tremendous microphone. Anytime the mainstream media needs a soundbite about how the Tea Party or some random Trump supporter is probably a secret white terrorist, they turn to the SPLC as the ultimate authority on hate groups. You’d think the FBI would be a better source, since it has so many paid informants in these groups.

This hyperventilating about Merry Christmas tweets is reminiscent of the Obama administration’s treatment of “domestic terrorism,” i.e., mainstream Christian beliefs. Americans were shocked to learn in 2013 that West Point, the academy where all of our future Army officers are trained, was now teaching a course which described the main domestic terrorism threat in the United States for cadets. You guessed it, the threat identified by the Obama administration was Christians who are pro-life. Just ignore that San Bernardino shooting, the Orlando nightclub massacre and countless other murderous incidents. Methodists and Presbyterians are the true threat! We can only hope that our future Army officers are smarter than the average SPLC donor.

Which brings us back to our main point: Why is the SPLC allowed to remain a tax-free nonprofit? Its tactics only benefit the farthest of far-left Democrats, and work to smear and slander everyday Americans. The only people who benefit from the SPLC’s antics are Democrats and the far-left mainstream media. It’s long past time for the IRS to take a closer look at the SPLC’s books and activities, and determine whether it is really worthy of tax-exempt status. And while we’re at it, Merry Christmas!
