Trump Is Victorious

The smell of victory is sweet for conservatives, who can finally celebrate after a marathon sprint finish gave Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump a decisive triumph over his lackluster criminal competitor, Democrat Hillary Clinton.

In a race that was epic for its highs, its lows and its complete absence of predictability, Trump finished strong and showed that the will of the people can never be defeated when it holds the moral high ground.

In the end, scandal after scandal and corrupt deal after corrupt deal caught up with the Clintons, who could now face criminal charges for their crimes in relation to their eponymous foundation, their pay-for-play activities and the misdeeds of their inner circle of fixers, schemers and con men.

Right out of the gate, Trump led an extremely strong and defiant campaign against this corruption, injustice, economic malaise and open borders that resonated soundly — not just with solid conservatives, but also with independent voters and those in the disregarded middle class.

Too many of these people have been feeling pinched for too long by policies of the current president and presidents past, including Bill Clinton, whose ratification of the infamous NAFTA treaty only exacerbated the trend of outsourcing and offshoring of U.S. jobs, to the detriment of the American economy.

For all these citizens, Trump was a welcome break from what was feeling like a downward spiral of despondency, dejection and despair as inflation-adjusted wages stagnated or actually decreased over the past two decades. Unlike the false “hope and change” promised by Obama, Trump has committed to really fixing what ails our government and its entrenched bureaucracy.

From the beginning of his campaign, Trump fought his way through a crowded field of career Republican politicians, contrasting his no-nonsense solutions and a voice that no other GOP candidate could match, as well as the appeal of an outsider who can “drain the swamp” that is Washington, D.C.

As hard as rival GOP candidates such as Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio tried, they could not break the heroic stride of Trump or blunt his momentum as he shot to the top of his party’s pack and clinched the Republican nomination in May of this year.

Along the way, many of Trump’s Republican competitors were bruised as Trump gave as good as he got and then some, with Jeb Bush being relegated to the status of a “low energy” and Ted Cruz becoming known more for his campaign lies than for his Senate record.

Though not many pundits had predicted Trump’s seizing the GOP nomination, the business mogul’s energy, charisma and entertainment appeal shocked and surprised staid commentators and debate moderators alike, with many in the Republican elite aghast at the populist support he garnered.

Party stalwarts such as the Bush family, Mitt Romney and William Kristol tried to block Trump’s rise and plotted against him by backing a half-hearted #NeverTrump movement, which in the end failed to coalesce around an alternative candidate or platform and died a sputtering and embarrassing death, with many of its members admitting defeat and ultimately backing Hillary Clinton.

But Trump’s real battle began in July after he won the GOP primary contest. At that point, he might as well have gone up against Godzilla, since the Clintons’ war chest was more than double what the Republican candidate had access to.

In the end, Trump spent considerably less than the Democrats and got a much bigger “bang” for his buck with free media coverage, packed rallies and nearly endless positive feedback from his supporters.

As opposed to Clinton, Trump was positively electrifying, crisscrossing the country to campaign and fill stadiums while Clinton had to pay “supporters” to weakly hold up pre-printed signs at her rallies, which often took place in embarrassingly empty halls and auditoriums.

Clinton’s poor health, lack of spontaneity and low motivation left her party’s true fans dispirited and cynical. At one point, only 30 people showed up at a rally for Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine.

By far, Clinton was the most divisive and weakest candidate the Democrats have run in decades as even her supporters struggled to name just one accomplishment the former Secretary of State could boast, despite a 40-year career in law and public service.

The stench of the Clintons’ corruption and shady business dealings ultimately proved too much to bear as revelation after revelation was exposed by WikiLeaks, Alt-Right news sources such as yours truely and Breitbart.

The FBI also played a role, they dueled with Clinton almost right up until the end of her campaign. At what seemed a crucial moment, FBI Director James Comey suddenly backed down from his reopened investigation into Clinton’s private email server and once again decided not to press for a personal indictment of the former Secretary. However, investigations into the Clinton Foundation and members of Clinton’s inner circle continue.

The email issue was likely the single biggest factor which led people not to support Hillary at the polls, but it was only one element of many that brought about catastrophic doubts over whether Clinton was fit to serve as president.

For many voters, it instead would be much more satisfying to see her as a prisoner in a federal jail, which may yet still come to pass if the ongoing investigations of her foundation’s fundraising or other scandals bear any fruit.

There’s tremendous pressure to make sure that both Clintons are not allowed to get away with their repulsive criminal activities, which have ensnared numerous other prominent Democrats, including Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and even President Obama himself.

While some conservatives may content themselves with the fact that it’s unlikely Clinton will run for office again, the dirty networks and associations of the Clintons must be stripped bare if the Republicans hope to teach the opposing party a lesson in how politics should function, lest lesser-known friends of Bill and Hillary or members of their party take any of their ideas to heart.

For now, the job of President Trump is to turn the country around and give hope to those who have suffered under previous presidents for so long. Look for the Republican leader to act quickly to right so many of President Obama’s wrongs, including derailing the trainwreck known as Obamacare, safeguarding Second Amendment rights, permanently killing any chances of passage of the Transpacific Partnership (TPP) and shoring up the country’s borders against illegal immigrants.

Trump’s mandate is clear, and he couldn’t have come this far without your support. So, pat yourself on the back if you gave him your vote, and support his next moves after he’s inaugurated and begins to work with bitter Democrats to make America great again!
