Democrats Lynch “Token” Bill from Black GOP Senator

Why does the Democrat Party, which created the KKK to terrorize and suppress black voters, continue to enjoy widespread support among black Americans? Especially at a time when we are told that America is irredeemably racist by those very same Democrats?

You might think that Democrats would want to improve the lives of their most loyal voting demographic, but you would be completely wrong. Republican Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina drafted a police reform bill that would make many of the sweeping changes that the black community has been asking for. But Democrats have nuked the bill.

Not only that, but Democrats have pretty much told Sen. Tim Scott that he should get his butt back down to the plantation where he belongs. One of the leaders of the Democrat Party, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) called Tim Scott’s police reform bill the GOP’s “token” legislation. Seriously? Try to imagine any elected Republican saying something as blatantly racist as that.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is married to Transportation Secretary Elaine Cho – an Asian woman. And yet McConnell has Antifa and Black Lives Matter mobs yelling at his home through a bullhorn 24/7 right now. Have any mobs showed up at Dick Durbin’s mansion? Didn’t think so.

How do they continue to get away with this?

Breitbart News compiled a list of prominent people who have smeared shoe polish on themselves in order to appear black for entertainment purposes. We are told that wearing blackface is one of the most awful racist caricatures that a person can commit. Reporter Megyn Kelly was fired from a job for simply asking whether wearing blackface is that big a deal. It’s a big enough deal that such a question cost Megyn Kelly her job. Anyway, here is the list that Breitbart compiled:

Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Sarah Silverman, Robert Downey Jr., Ken Jeong, Ted Danson, Dan Akroyd, Billy Crystal, John Hamm, Jenna Maroney, Joy Behar, Howard Stern, Zach Braff, John Slattery, C. Thomas Howell, Cyndi Lauper and Mark Proksch.

And of course, we all know about Virginia Governor Ralph Northam and Canadian Prime Minister/Dress-up Fetishist Justin Trudeau.

Every single one of those people is, obviously, a far-left Democrat in a prominent position in America. Sure, a lot of them are Hollywood celebrities – but they have a lot bigger megaphone and a much bigger public footprint than you do. And yet those people face no consequences for this burning, racist hypocrisy. (Not that Democrats have ever worried about hypocrisy.)

But why is the black community putting up with this? And why are blacks allowing Democrats to get away with nuking Tim Scott’s legislation that a majority of black voters support?

I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of Tim Scott’s bill. Rather than have the feds take control of all of our local police departments in America, I would much rather see the feds get the rioters and looters under control using any means necessary. But to each their own.

Tim Scott’s bill would have made lynching a federal crime. It’s not already??? Never mind the fact that the last reported lynching in the US happened back in 1981. But this is a bill that’s widely supported in the black community for its symbolism. Kamala Harris and Corey Booker – two partially-black Democrat Senators who ran for president last year – both campaigned on the promise of making lynching a federal crime. They’re always talking about this non-issue. But because this issue which is important to some in the black community was proposed by Tim Scott, Booker and Harris have lined up with Dick Durbin to call Tim Scott a “token.”

Scott’s bill would have tied federal grants to the elimination of police chokeholds, another policy that I think is counterproductive, but which would make a lot of people feel good. (Cops who have to restrain overdosing drug addicts who turn into The Incredible Hulk won’t feel good about this, but whatever.)

Two good things in Tim Scott’s bill were the fact that it would provide more federal funds for police body cams. Democrats hate those, because they reveal the fact that most police are polite, professional, respectful and non-racist when carrying out their duty to protect and serve. And the bill would have imposed stringent reporting on police “no-knock” raids, which I’m fully on board with. No-knock raids should be eliminated entirely, but this was a step in the right direction.

But the Democrats won’t allow that bill to come up for a vote. It’s an election year and they want everyone to know that “Black Lives Matter.” Except for that “token” black GOP Senator Tim Scott.
