Democrats: You’re Not Going to Like the New Rules You’re Creating

So Joe Biden gets a pass? Really? Really? Jussie Smollett gets a pass? Justin Fairfax gets a pass? Ralph Northam gets a pass? Hillary Clinton gets a big, BIG pass? That’s an awful lot of passes. Curiously, all of these passes seem to be one-way affairs. When the exact same standard is applied to someone on the political right – usually for some “scandal” that isn’t even vaguely as shocking as Creepy Uncle Joe’s hands-on approach to your daughters – the conservative gets professionally and figuratively lynched.

We conservatives are happy to play by the rules, liberals. In fact, we’re the party of “law and order,” a tradition that stems from that whole icky “Western Civilization” thing that Joe Biden says needs to be eliminated.

When you have rules and you apply them equally to everybody, you end up with the greatest country on earth. America, for example. When one side applies the rules unequally, you end up with a dump like Venezuela. We like rules. We’ll follow them, as long as we know what the rules are and as long as the punishments for violating the rules are applied equally.

Take Jussie Smollett, for example. Everyone knew that the “attack” that Jussie “suffered” was really a hate hoax. Everything about his story was faker than the Russian potty dossier. He did everything short of claiming that he heard one of the attackers call himself Haven Monahan. Remember what happened when Chicago PD finished the investigation and the grand jury charged Jussie with 16 non-violent crimes?

The cops called Jussie’s lawyer and said, “Hey, we’re charging him. Can he stop by the station later?” Jussie was given the opportunity to walk to the police station with his lawyer and an entourage of black activists, like he was Martin Luther King, Jr. fighting oppression or something.

I don’t remember Roger Stone getting to walk to the jail with an entourage when he was accused of a handful of non-violent process crimes by Robert Mueller. Stone got a knock on the door at 5 a.m. and had machine guns pointed at his face.

What’s the rule we’re going to live by, liberals? Pick one. Turn yourself in like civilized people – or machine guns in the face? Personally, I favor the “turn yourself in” model, but if we’re going to go with the “machine guns in face” model, then it needs to be applied equally.

Oh, and the part where Jussie Smollett gets to have all of the charges against him dropped by a Soros-backed prosecutor after one phone call from Michelle Obama’s “fixer?” What rule is that? How do we get the “all charges dropped on a whim” standard applied equally to conservatives as well?

The Chicago police took Jussie Smollett’s claims very seriously, racking up $130,000 in overtime as a result of their diligent investigation. In spite of all of that, and in spite of the fact that Jussie’s crime was pretty awful and blatantly racist, none of us expected him to go to prison for it. We just wanted him to have to go through the process, appear before a judge, plead guilty, apologize, and admit that he’s a giant a-hole and a racist.

Why was that too much to ask for in the case of Jussie Smollett? Why does Roger Stone have to go through that whole antiquated “court” process? Can’t the judge simply dismiss all of the charges against him? Wouldn’t that be an equal application of the law?

You can imagine our confusion when we see the treatment of then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh compared with the likes of Justin Fairfax and Joe Biden, can’t you, liberals? What’s the rule we’re going to apply in these situations?

Kavanaugh was accused of attempted rape by Christine Blasey-Ford, even though no one else at the party corroborated her story, she had no evidence to back up any of her claims, she couldn’t remember where it happened, when it happened or any other details. Kavanaugh was viciously smeared, called a gang rapist on the floor of the US Senate, and was expected to withdraw his nomination out of basic human decency.

He was supposed to just plead guilty and go away. Fortunately, he didn’t, but Brett Kavanaugh and his family were treated awfully over the false allegation. And forever Kavanaugh’s Wikipedia page will be filled with rape accusations.

We just don’t see that same standard being applied to liberals. If Joe Biden were a Republican, we’d be seeing the front page of the New York Times every day with headlines like, “Joe Biden Rapes Little Girls with His Hands. That’s Not Okay,” and “It’s Time to Talk About Creepy Uncle Joe’s Hand Rapes.”

But Joe is getting treated by a different standard than Brett Kavanaugh.

It’s not like these are hazy allegations from 30 years ago with no evidence to back them up. There are videos of Biden creeping on women and very young girls. Joe Biden puts his hands on women and girls without their permission. They visibly shrink away from his touch and its obvious how creeped out by him they are. Even though some have hypocritically rushed to defend him, saying things like, “Oh, that’s just Joe! He totally does that to me all the time! There’s nothing sexual about it, my dog sniffs me that way, too!” Uh huh.

Joe Biden gets a different standard. So does Justin Fairfax. The Democrat Lieutenant Governor of Virginia has been credibly accused of rape by two different women. Both have highly detailed and specific stories, both have corroborating evidence. Fairfax doesn’t have to resign and doesn’t even have to step aside temporarily while the whole mess gets sorted out. Why does Justin Fairfax get to enjoy due process, but Republicans never do?

And Governor Ralph Northam, who wore blackface in his college yearbook… Actually, forget we mentioned Northam. You can keep him in office. We pinky-swear we won’t mention him during the 2020 election cycle as if he’s some sort of albatross around the necks of all Democrats.

The system can’t continue the way that it’s been going lately, liberals. We will apply the new rules to you – and you’re not going to like it. So, what’s it going to be? Do we restore the rule of law and apply it equally to everyone? Or, do we use the hammer of social justice to bludgeon everyone equally? Like I said, we’re happy to follow the rules. Just let us know which set of rules you want to live under.
