The #MeToo movement is finally here and at a long last, powerful and lecherous men are going to be held to account for their dastardly deeds against women! Or… maybe not. It turns out that the #MeToo movement was all another sham designed to destroy the lives and careers of elected Republicans and one icky Hollywood movie mogul.
When women started speaking up and it turned out that most of the men being accused were liberals and elected Democrats, the movement suddenly started to fizzle. I suspect that the credible assault allegations against Joe Biden are going to be the final nail in the #MeToo coffin.
Hey, that’s weird! The mainstream media doesn’t seem to want to hear about Tara Reade’s account of how Joe Biden sexually assaulted her back when he was a US Senator. Almost like there’s some sort of double standard at play. In fact, if you’re a liberal who only gets their news from places like MSNBC or CNN, this is probably the first time you’ve even heard about the incredibly detailed allegations of Joe Biden allegedly sexually assaulting a member of his staff, Tara Reade.
Oh, dear me! You should probably sit down for this information, liberals.
Remember that “locker room talk” that President Trump did years ago which was secretly recorded by someone at NBC and then leaked as an October surprise right before the 2016 election? You know, when he was talking about women?
Well, those were just words. Trump didn’t actually do anything in that instance. He just spoke some words. Kinda dumb and inappropriate words, but just words. I know that bursts your bubble, because renowned male-and-female relationships expert Anderson Cooper of CNN said that Trump “literally” sexually assaulted women by speaking those words, but that’s not a real sexual assault.
Anyway, that comment that Trump made about grabbing women, you know… down there? Well, Tara Reade says that Joe Biden literally did that to her. Actually, it was much worse. And when she started to protest over Gropey Joe sexually assaulting her, Reade says that Senator Biden then stated, “Come on! I heard you liked me!”
Sounds exactly like something Joe Biden would say, doesn’t it? Come on!
That sound of crickets that you’re hearing right now is the response of elected Democrats, media pundits, #MeToo afficionados and Hollywood celebrities rushing to defend Tara Reade’s honor against Joe Biden. When will the congressional hearings, where we get to hear Tara Reade and Joe Biden each tell their side of the story, be happening? You know, like with Brett Kavanaugh and Dr Blasey-Ford?
Aren’t we supposed to believe all women? Shouldn’t every woman who says she has been sexually assaulted have a right to be heard, as one Democrat politician said of Blasey-Ford? Which politician was that by the way? Oh, right, it was Joe Biden!
Come to think of it, a congressional “He Said-She Said” hearing between Biden and his alleged victim probably wouldn’t be very illuminating. That’s just a guess on my part, after hearing Senile Joe’s latest podcast.
The US economy is crashing and burning as we deal with a biological pandemic, the price of oil is plummeting, our civil liberties are being taken away by overzealous governors, and Communist China is aggressively maneuvering its aircraft carriers into strike position. Yet Biden spent an entire hour during his latest “I should totally be your president” podcast talking about peanut butter sandwiches and… Fig Newtons.
While President Trump is giving daily briefings on how the government is working to protect us all during these frightening times, Biden explained that Fig Newtons are one of his favorite snacks, “Because they’re small and I can sneak ‘em!”
Ooh. Maybe not your best choice of words, Joe? Considering all those times you’ve been caught on camera sneaking up on little girls to sniff their hair. Just saying.
Biden probably doesn’t even remember who Tara Reade is. And unfortunately for her, the statute of limitations on Biden’s alleged crime against her has passed. Not that that stopped liberals when the fake accusations about Brett Kavanaugh from 30-plus years ago came out. In that case, it was totally different.
It’s too bad for Tara Reade that the Democrats don’t really care about women who have been sexually assaulted. All they care about is power, which is why they’ll never even ask Gropey Joe to tell his side of the story.
