House Democrats’ Investigations of Trump is Putting the Country at Risk

Now that Robert Mueller’s 2 + year investigation is over, Democrats have no intention in accepting the obvious facts – President Trump had nothing to do with collusion with Russian and didn’t cheat to win the 2016 election. What’s worse is their insistence on even more investigations is putting the country in danger.

Keith Koffler of the Washington Examiner wrote a recent opinion piece for NBC News that must have Chuck Todd, the network’s Political Director, cringing in disbelief. Considering Todd’s blatant bias against the President, he couldn’t have been happy when he read Koffler’s warning:

“At some point, Democrats must decide whether they care about the country more than they hate President Donald Trump. They have to ask themselves: By continuing the vast investigations that have dogged Trump for two years, are we endangering the safety and security of the nation?”

Koffler hit the nail on the head. Iran is threatening all-out war with Israel, North Korea has resumed missile tests, Venezuela is asking for our help to oust Maduro from power, Russia is meddling in our elections, and China is exerting its will in an ever-widening circle.

While President Trump has confronted all these threats head-on with aggressive tactics, these countries have all taken notice of the internal strife going on within our borders.

The President is in charge of our keeping our country safe, on all fronts. But how can he stay focused on that when he is constantly having to defend himself from Democrats calls for impeachment.

Anytime our President is distracted from running the nation, we are by definition less safe. There is no doubt President Trump is distracted—he spends countless hours tweeting about Democrats, impeachment, spying, Mueller and the repeated attempts to remove him from power.

Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) told Todd Starnes on his radio show that she has no doubt Congress will find out who tried to perpetuate the Russian Collusion hoax on the American people. One thing she is sure of is that, “After 22 months, $30 million, 19 lawyers, 50 FBI agents and millions of documents and transcripts – interviews and phone records – they found no collusion, no conspiracy, no coordination – nothing, nothing,”

No matter the real and present danger of China imposing its will, Blackburn notes, “The Democrats just cannot accept that Donald Trump won the election in 2016.”

Last month, Trump tweeted, “We have to run a country,” expressing exasperation at the Democrats continued threats to his presidency. But after an exhaustive probe by Mueller, he must deal with the no less than a half-dozen committees that Democrats have formed with one obvious purpose in mind – impeaching him.

Forget China, Democrat Representative Jerrold Nadler of New York is intent on using every power offered him as chairman of the powerful House Judiciary Committee to keep Trump tied up for months to come. The New York Times reported, “Mr. Nadler sent 81 initial letters on … sketching out a sweeping new inquiry into possible obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power by Mr. Trump and his administration.”

Meanwhile, a panel of the House Oversight and Reform Committee is pressing for Trump’s pre-election private financial record and calling into question the handling of White House security clearances process.

The House Ways and Means Committee wants to see every line of Trump’s past six years of tax returns and The House Financial Services and Intelligence Committees is exploring his past dealings with Deutsche Bank.

Nowhere has the length House Democrats will go to been seen better than in their handling of Attorney General Bob Barr. Some have even questioned if the inappropriate handling of Barr might be a trial run for how much the American people will take should they make impeachment more than speculation.

Koffler asks if taking such a stance that hinders the President from doing what the people elected him to do “worth it?” He reminds us that impeachment is much more a political than legal process. We are already into the next election cycle and in 18 months voters could remove Donald Trump from office quicker than any impeachment ever could.

“Given the awesome responsibilities of the presidency,” said Koffler, “why not curtail the investigations, take impeachment off the table and let the voters decide Trump’s fate?” He adds: “it would be the responsible thing to do.”

Board-certified clinical psychiatrist, Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr., M.D. says such illogical behavior proves that Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is more than just a clever cut at Democrats like Nadler.

Rather than see President Trump and the America he serves as a mixed bag of good and not-so-good, the left insists both are pure evil. Meanwhile, the real enemy is ignored.
