An astonishing 5.5 million people have been thrown onto the unemployment rolls in Los Angeles County as of today. Good news, though! Health officials in California have announced that if everything goes well, they will start lifting their shelter-in-place orders for Los Angelenos by about August. Maybe.
That’s not even the craziest tyrannical move we seen in many blue states so far. Democrat Governors are complaining that they’re starting to receive threats. Maybe they need to be reminded that that is part of the bargain here in America.
In Washington state, Governor Jay Inslee (D-Obviously) says he’s going to forcibly quarantine people in their homes if they refuse testing for the Chinese coronavirus. If one member of your household tests positive, or if you refuse to be tested because it’s your body and your choice, the entire family will be forcibly quarantined and not allowed to leave the home, even for groceries or prescriptions. That’s going to end well.
Inslee made the announcement this week, and he told reporters that Washingtonians will be happy to comply with his new unconstitutional directives. Thrilled, actually! And he made it clear that if you are healthy and don’t feel that it’s necessary to get tested for the virus, you will be locked in your home. He didn’t say whether or not they would weld the door of your home shut to keep you inside – as the authorities did to people in Wuhan, China – but he made it clear that they’ll keep you in there somehow.
This Inslee lunatic ran for president last year. He’s running for reelection as Washington Governor this year, after he failed to surpass Kamala Harris in any national poll during his doomed presidential run.
Thousands of disgruntled citizens who have been financially destroyed by Inslee’s statewide shutdown showed up to protest in Olympia last week. One person was arrested for leaving a threatening voicemail at Inslee’s office in late April.
Another shutdown loon who gets a big thrill out of destroying the lives of her constituents is Michigan Governor Gretchen “Karen Would Like to Speak to the Manager” Whitmer (D-Obviously). As a reminder, Whitmer is one of the Democrat Governors who signed an executive order in March that forced nursing homes to accept patients who had active, positive coronavirus infections – resulting in additional unnecessary casualties.
Whitmer went on something called The View on ABC, which is apparently a program by Karens for Karens to get their inner Karen on. As Michigan residents continue to show up and protest at the state capitol over her increasingly deranged extensions of the lockdowns and arbitrary made-up-on-the-spot rules, Whitmer called the protesters “racists” and “misogynists.”
She says that state lawmakers in Michigan are scared to go to work without bulletproof vests because of all of Nazi Confederate flag-wavers who keep protesting her. Whitmer told the panel of Karen hags on The View, “No one should stand in our way of doing our jobs.”
That’s pretty hilarious. The woman who is still collecting a taxpayer-funded paycheck while literally preventing hardworking Michigan voters from going to work and doing their jobs based on shoddy science, says that no one should stand in the way of the politicians doing their jobs! Governor Karen is super upset that people are threatening her for destroying their lives.

It may be uncomfortable to talk about, but violence is actually listed as a last resort of the American people when a tyrannical government goes too far. It’s in that amendment in the Bill of Rights that comes right after the First Amendment. You should read it sometime.
The American people will put up with a lot of BS to a certain point, but eventually if you cross the line, armed resistance becomes part of the bargain. See, that’s how this whole constitutional republic thing was designed to work. The Karens of the world who seek public office are granted the privilege of representing us, but we have to consent to the things you try to impose on the people. The American people consented to a two-week shutdown back in March in order to brace our healthcare system for the coronavirus. We didn’t vote on or consent to anything that’s been imposed on us since then.
We know that you Democrats are big fans of Communist China and it gave you a tingle up your scrawny chicken legs to see cops welding the doors of people’s homes shut so they could starve to death inside for disobedience, but we don’t consent to that here in America. No one voted for the shutdowns to still be going on at this point.
If your constituents are threatening you because of how you’ve been doing your job, it doesn’t mean that they are in the wrong. It means you had better start listening to them, because you’re not going to enjoy Phase 2: Reopening Boogaloo if it comes to that.
