Maxine Waters butters her bread with race hatred, fear, and rabble rousing. She says she hates Donald Trump. She says he is everything we should loathe and fear. But without him, no one would even know who she is. She knows this and is making hay while the sun shines.
She admits to having developed a severe case of insomnia worrying about the President. But we think if she’s worried about anything, it’s what will happen to her career if Trump is reelected in a year and a half.
Hey, Maxine… are you reading this… just a year and a half away from Trump’s reelection. Can you stand it?
While speaking to a crowd of wingnuts at the Stonewall Young Democratic Club in Los Angeles, Waters said;
“There are those who said we lacked civility when I got up and talked about the President’s Cabinet, and I said if you see them anywhere, if you see them at a restaurant, if you see them in a department store, even at a gasoline station, just tell them you’re not welcome here or anywhere. And so, it frightened a lot of people, and of course, the lying president said that I had threatened all of his constituents. I did not threaten his constituents, his supporters. I do that all the time, but I didn’t do it that time. When I compare what you’re doing with what we have in Washington, D.C., in the highest office in the land, I wake up in the middle of the night and all I can think about is I’m gonna get him.”
She said it over and over, “I’m gonna get him. I’m gonna get him.”
We hate to think of what four years of insomnia can do to the mind of someone as old as Waters, but it can’t be pretty.
Okay, Waters might be irresponsible and mean. But she’s not stupid. She knows that this kind of trouble making is the only way to move her career forward. And she’s far from the only Democrat or progressive liberal making crazy hail Mary passes of outright donkey-headedness. The nuttery is all over CNN, MSDNC, and the left side of the aisle.
You’ve got Cory Booker, who is trying to convince the Senate to kick him out because he willingly violated some rules of information sharing. He told a panel over and over that he had willingly violated the rules and knew that he could be ousted. One senator asked him how long he was going to keep saying it. It was hilarious.
Then you’ve got the whole crew at CNN with every single pundit and anchor they have going on about the same thing each and every day. There’s Brian Stelter who reliably comes on screen each day and goes on and on about how crazy he thinks the president is. Then there’s Don Lemonhead, who looks like Johnny Mathis’ ghost, saying Trump is a racist.
They just saying these things over and over with no evidence. They beat it into your head until you roll over and pretend to believe it.
This is what desperation looks like.
Oh, and we mustn’t leave out the failing New York Times. Their dog and pony show is about abusing the privilege of protecting their sources. This started back in late 2016 when they were saying that 17 intelligence agencies said Trump is a Russian asset. The whole time they said they can’t reveal their sources because someone could get hurt.
At the time, we were suspicious- now, after a year and a half with zero evidence of collusion- we’re certain they were lying about those sources. Today, the NYT wants us to believe that someone in the White House wrote an anonymous editorial about how they are secretly running the White House because Trump isn’t up to the job.
Well, we’re sorry, NYT. You’ve abused your source-protection privilege too many times. We’re calling ‘BS’ on this one.
So, don’t think Maxine Waters is the only one going off the rails on a crazy train. It’s the left in general. And the mental derailment is so pervasive, so uniform and widespread- that we think YouTube commentator Mark Dice might be onto something when he calls it the “Liberal Pathogen.”
These people are sick, and they are all sick in the same way. Could they all be animated by the same spirit? What are the conspiracy theorists saying about this? We might take them more seriously this time.
In any event, we hope Maxine Waters manages to get some sleep.
