While the Democrats have been busy fighting over who can grant free healthcare to illegal immigrants first, real news has been ignored. You probably don’t know that Portland, Oregon saw extreme violence this past weekend. You probably also don’t know that it was a conservative leaning journalist who received the worst of it.
You might expect journalists to stand up for their own, but that’s not where true loyalties lie. The mainstream media will only support leftists. Anyone else deserves what they got. Fortunately, you can find the real story here.
Antifa vs the Proud Boys
Portland, Oregon, has been a strange battleground for the past two years or so. Rather frequently, there are protests and clashes between a right-wing group that calls themselves the Proud Boys and Antifa. We won’t get deeply into the politics of the Proud Boys today. Instead, we’ll summarize them as being on the far right.
Antifa should need no introduction, so when you hear that a protest involved clashes between Antifa and a right-wing group, you can make certain assumptions, and you’re probably right. In every instance, Antifa antagonizes and starts violence. Only then have the Proud Boys responded in kind.
Despite the repetitive cycle of this conflict, you probably haven’t heard a word about it for at least a year. That’s because the mainstream media has fully endorsed Antifa, so they have to work hard to hide these stories of repeated violence. Meanwhile, the attacks are happening multiple times each month in Portland.
The Problem with Portland
Unfortunately, the source of this problem runs deeper than a bunch of left-wing thugs picking fight. This actually goes to the top. You see, in Portland, the mayor is technically the highest ranking member of law enforcement. He can unilaterally overrule the chief of police, and that has been happening since 2017.
That was the year that Ted Wheeler won the mayorship. What you probably don’t know about Wheeler is that he has personal ties to Antifa. He’s basically one of their own sitting in the most powerful seat in the town, so when he ordered Portland police to stop engaging violent Antifa members, no one was surprised.
Unfortunately, the Portland police have followed this order, and they regularly stand by while Antifa members destroy property and outright attack members of the Portland community.
This brings us to Andy Ngo. He’s one of the few journalists left with any integrity. When mainstream media went silent on Antifa, he saw it as his duty to continue covering their violence. That is what brought him to another protest in Portland last weekend. He expected violence, and he found it.
Unfortunately, he found it firsthand. Antifa has long wanted to target Ngo for exposing their attacks, and they finally followed through. Ngo was savagely beaten, kicked, thrown to the ground and struck repeatedly. His camera equipment was stolen, and he had cement milkshakes thrown at him. The beating was so severe that he had to be hospitalized overnight to treat a brain bleed.
Worst of all, this happened in plain sight, out on the city streets in broad daylight. The Police followed the Mayor’s orders and stayed away from the protest. They were no help while these thugs savagly beat an innocent journalist. Eventually, a few arrests were made, but no one has been charged in the attack on Ngo. Antifa will get away with this once again.
It’s important to speak honestly about this situation. A corrupt politician is sanctioning routine violence committed by a politically motivated gang. That’s what Antifa really is.
Worse, establishment Democrats are in bed with this whole thing. Antifa isn’t some fringe outlier group that taints the Democratic Party. They are fully endorsed by the mainstream Democrats.
Media outlets like the New York Times and the Washington Post are in bed with them. By refusing to acknowledge the violence, they create a protective shroud. Their deliberate refusal to cover this violence absolutely contributed to Andy Ngo’s brain bleed.
There is no solidarity among journalists. The folks at CNN have repeatedly supported Antifa and condemned real journalists like Ngo. This is what they want. They want the radicals to violently silence the opposition. They want true tyranny. Any semblance of a Democratic Party that believed in principle or rule of law is gone.
Remember that when you pray for Ngo’s speedy recovery. This is exactly what the entire left truly desires.
