What the Democrats want is a carbon-copy replacement of liberal jurist Ruth Bader Ginsburg to fill her seat. They regard the liberal high court as their last defense against those judges who prefer to follow the Constitution.
Liberal judges gave us forced bussing as a means of neighborhood school desegregation. Then there was Roe vs. Wade, which ruled that the United States Constitution protects a pregnant woman’s freedom to kill her yet to be born baby.
The best defense that voters have against more egregious rulings likes these is to elect a President like Donald Trump and a Republican controlled Senate–which is what happened in 2016. Three years prior to that the Democrats made their own bed and decided to remove the 60% filibuster rule for court appointments. Now, it’s majority rule and the Republicans are the majority.
Justice Ginsburg’s replacement won’t be a Trump-hating liberal. She will be someone who has read and thought about the Constitution and realizes that her job is to decide on matters of constitutional law without making stuff up.
Democrats are apologizing to their base for throwing out the filibuster, but it’s too late. Their only recourse is to enlist their fake news minions and dig up dirt to muddy whomever the Republicans nominate.
They did it with Clarence Thomas, who is forever linked with the uncorroborated sexual harassment claims of Anita Hill. We all remember what they did to Brett Kavanaugh.
The media have already attacked Amy Coney-Barrett, who hasn’t actually been nominated but is considered a front-runner to replace Ruth Bader-Ginsburg. Judge Coney-Barrett is a devout Catholic and a member of People of Praise a so-called “charismatic Christian parachurch organization” that teaches that men have authority over their wives.
A Newsweek hit piece on Judge Coney-Barrett showed its true bias and anti-Catholic prejudice when it asserted that the author of the novel “The Handmaid’s Tale” got her inspiration from the church Judge Coney-Barrett attends.
If you are unfamiliar with “The Handmaid’s Tale” it’s a book supposedly about a future in which the government has full control over women’s bodies and turns poor women into baby-making slaves for rich couples who can’t get pregnant on their own.
Except Newsweek got it wrong. People of Praise did not inspire “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The author never mentioned the group as being the inspiration for her work. The actual charismatic group she was thinking of was the Catholic organization “People of Hope.”
Oops. Well, that lazy error elicited a perfunctory statement of regret by Newsweek. They didn’t think their egregious lie was enough to retract the story, they merely issued a correction. The heinous and demonstrably false article is still online.
“How Amy Coney Barrett’s People of Praise group inspired ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’” said the first iteration of the story’s headline. The headline now reads, “How Charismatic Catholic Groups Like Amy Coney Barrett’s People of Praise Inspired ‘The Handmaid’s Tale.’”
That tepid correction may have temporarily shut down the public demonstration of women wearing white bonnets and red robes for the time being, but not to worry, the liberal website Refinery 29 has taken up the torch. In an article the site referred to Judge Coney-Barrett as “the potential RBG Replacement Who Hates Your Uterus.”
The smears by left-wing media organizations have only just begun. Expect liberal women to line up with charges that nominees like Judge Coney-Barrett have no standing in the women’s movement. Any woman who exercises her right to leave the liberal plantation is a living insult to the memory of Ruth Bader-Ginsburg, whose reputed dying wish was to have a replacement who hated Donald Trump, just like she did.

I was so disappointed to hear Amazon gave BLM 10 million dollars in support. I actually heard one of the BLM trio, state that they held classes on Marxism. Do we really want a communist country? We also need to investigate the legalities of all elections. My fore fathers came from Finland and many relatives still live in Minnesota, I can’t believe that they nominated an individual To Congress who hates America. How can any Americans vote for individuals in NY, Vermont,Alaska,Delaware, and else where , who only want to get wealthy off of other Americans. Please we have to open our eyes and watch over all elections and see the corruption, as this is where it’s starting. Perhaps we need to spend some funding on having Federally appointed people (Representatives from all parties over seeing the vote count) There’s one woman in Florida who hasn’t been able to get her districts vote counted, on time, for years and I do not think she’s been fired, as yet. Come on folks, it’s starting with all elections, from the cities, on up!

One of the responsibilities of the President of the United States is to appoint a replacement for any justice of the United States Supreme Court who can no longer fill his or her seat. The United States Constitution does not say anything about the President needing the approval of both houses of Congress to fill this vacancy. It is too bad that the liberal, left-wing, Pro-Choice members may not approve of the President’s selection. Judge Coney-Barrett will be a fantastic choice, if President Trump selects her to fill the vacant seat. Perhaps one of the babies that was not aborted, as a result of Judge Coney-Barrett’s choice, may grow up one day to be President of the United States or Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
