In a rare and disheartening commentary by U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Roberts, the leader of the nation’s highest court put forth propaganda that Americans know in their hearts is false.
Justice Roberts fired back at President Donald Trump for his criticism of so-called “Obama Judges” who have deliberately undermined his America First policies.
“We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges,” Justice Roberts said. “What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them. That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.”
With those remarks, one of the most revered judges in the country today joined the ranks of liberal politicians and the fake news media. He was swiftly slammed by veteran politicians and commentators who pointed to a wealth of evidence to the contrary.
It’s an undeniable truth that while president Obama filled the deep state with operatives that would enact his globalist and elitist agenda long after he left the White House. The judges appointed by Obama were not tapped to approach matters of law and justice with an even hand. They were put in place to bolster the deep state operatives the left-leaning president inserted into the Department of Justice, FBI, EPA, and other unelected bureaucracies.
Justice Roberts may make headlines in the fake news media with his pushback, but there is no escaping the prima facia facts of the case mounting against Obama-era judges.
“You go to the Ninth Circuit and it’s a disgrace, and I’m going to put in a major complaint. Because you cannot win, if you’re us, a case in the Ninth Circuit,” President Trump told a crowd of reporters. “Every case gets filed in the Ninth Circuit. … We get beaten, and then we end up having to go to the Supreme Court — like the travel ban and we won. We’re gonna have to look at that. That’s not law. That’s not what this country stands for.”
The consistent rulings against the Trump Administration are not restricted to the liberal-leaning Ninth Circuit. In Michigan, another Obama-appointed judge recently acted with reckless abandon to derail the president’s travel ban protections against terrorists.
The Department of Homeland Security had detained 100 Iraqis who were in the U.S. illegally as part of the travel ban mandate. The left-leaning Ninth Circuit and other Obama judges had roundly rejected the travel ban, which President Trump won on appeal at the U.S. Supreme Court. Despite the Trump Administration prevailing, as recently as November 2018, Obama judges continued to resist and obstruct the president’s lawful policies.
The Michigan judge ordered the release of the illegal Iraqi immigrants who filed a flimsy asylum claim.
“Whatever the scope of the president’s authority, he may not rewrite the immigration laws to impose a condition that Congress has expressly forbidden,” the Obama judge reportedly said.
Although Iraq had been dropped from the travel ban’s list of dangerous points of origin, the 100 immigrants in question had broken U.S. law and DHS policies deemed them ineligible for asylum. The same deep state Obama judges that consistently upheld his agencies liberal rules are now rejecting the notion that agencies can implement the practical policies that comply with the laws Congress enacts. Deep state Obama judges are playing a shell game with the facts and truth about their motives.
Consider the mounting evidence that Obama-appointed judges are acting outside the bounds of American law. Liberals judges have consistently protected the DACA program that shield upwards of 700,000 young immigrants who were brought to the U.S. illegally at no fault of their own. Although the Obama-era policy is widely considered an overreach of presidential power, his and other liberal judges defend it regardless.
It is ironic that one president can create a program, but another may not end it. Power runs both ways, except when the deep state intervenes. That may be why Democrats are unwilling to make a deal to give the Dreamers a pathway to lawful residence in the U.S.
Until recently, the Obama-era healthcare policy forced people to buy insurance or pay the penalty. Only after President Trump chopped away at the legs of this obviously unconstitutional mandate did it topple at the hands of a Texas judge who was not appointed by Obama.
Lady Justice is no longer blind in America. As President Trump aptly put it, Obama judges are a “disgrace.”
