One of Trump’s Greatest Gifts to America Will Be Destroying the Fake News Media

When President Trump does finally get the wall built on our southern border – as I firmly believe he will – it will be his greatest accomplishment to protect America from foreign enemies. And if he succeeds in causing the mainstream media to implode and destroy itself, he will have crushed America’s worst domestic enemy. No group of elitists has ever been more deserving of ridicule and destruction than the purveyors of fake news.

No matter what outrageous behavior a mainstream media news anchor carries out these days, it is nearly impossible for them to get fired. No level of Trump Derangement Syndrome is too low in the media’s eyes. And the media knows that the jig is up. CNN is now being consistently beaten in the ratings by a children’s cartoon channel that airs Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants.

The great media unraveling started when Donald Trump walked down that escalator and into history in 2015. It was perhaps best encapsulated by Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program in February 2017 when she squealed, “[Trump] could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job!”

Trump has broken the fake news media’s ability to control the message and they’re not happy about it.

We recently profiled the spectacular arrest of CNN anchor Richard Quest in 2008. If you missed it, Quest was arrested while trespassing in Central Park, NY in the dead of night with a bondage rope tied between his neck and his genitals, a pocket full of crystal meth and a sex toy in his boot.

What do you suppose would happen to a normal person who was the public face of an organization, if they were arrested in that situation? At CNN, you get reassigned to CNN International and get to continue anchoring a show!

College professors with tenure and federal employees who belong to a public-sector labor union look at CNN and wish that they had such great job security.

Perhaps nothing illustrates the “You Can’t Get Fired for Anything at CNN” principle more than the career of CNN’s former chief news executive Eason Jordan (pictured above). Jordan’s career at CNN lasted from 1982 through 2005. He was president of the network’s newsgathering and international editions.

Prior to the creation of Fox News and MSNBC, Eason Jordan was one of the most powerful and influential behind-the-scenes figures in the mainstream media.

After Saddam Hussein was ousted from power in 2003, Jordan published an op-ed in the New York Times that made an astonishing admission: CNN had been lying to America for more than a decade between the two Gulf Wars of Bush I and Bush II.

The piece was titled, “The News We Kept to Ourselves.” Jordan admitted that throughout the 1990s, CNN had been a propaganda outlet for Saddam Hussein. Remember those days? UN weapons inspections? CNN constantly insisting that Saddam didn’t have WMDs? It was all a pack of lies, according to Jordan. They published puff pieces on Saddam Hussein so that CNN could continue to keep its Baghdad bureau open.

“We lied to the American people for 10 years about a brutal dictatorship that was in a constant state of war with America. No biggie!” And that was the guy running the news operation at CNN who admitted this.

But Eason Jordan’s even more spectacular lie was at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in 2005. The remarks by CNN’s president of news gathering were such a hot potato that the WEF has refused to release the video to this day and has never provided a transcript of the event.

Jordan told the crowd of global elitists at the World Economic Forum that American soldiers were wantonly shooting and killing journalists in Iraq. Jordan’s remarks were so out of line that no one in the mainstream media reported on it initially.

Conservative bloggers picked up on the story after Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA) called Jordan personally. Frank asked Jordan to provide him with any and all evidence proving that American soldiers were assassinating journalists, so he could launch a full-scale investigation and impeach George W. Bush. Jordan never called Frank back, because the entire story was a fantasy in Jordan’s head (sort of like the accusations against Brett Kavanaugh!).

This brazen lie about American soldiers in Iraq, told before an audience of elitists, was not enough to get Eason Jordan fired from CNN. He eventually resigned after the public outcry became too great – but CNN would have been more than happy to keep him on staff and go about its business as usual. The mainstream media even tried to circle the wagons and protect Jordan, so he could keep his job.

Media: “There’s no proof that he said any such thing!”

America: “Where’s the tape from the World Economic Forum?”

Media: “Shut up, racists!”

So, for the record, criminal trespass, drug possession, being a flaming weirdo and treasonously lying to aid a foreign regime that America is at war with are all things that are not fireable offenses at CNN.

We did, however, manage to find one person who was fired from CNN recently: The rabidly pro-Trump Jeffrey Lord. You may or may not remember him from the run-up to the 2016 election. He was a bit quirky and strange, but at the same time, was delightfully in favor of a certain real estate champion who was running for President of the United States.

George Soros’s Media Matters sent a snotty tweet to Jeffrey Lord one day, huffily pointing out that there was a typo in the headline of one of Lord’s recent columns. How is anyone supposed to take you seriously, Media Matters bleated?

Lord’s response was short and brutally funny to anyone who is not suffering from mental illness: “Sieg Heil!”

CNN immediately fired its only pro-Trump personality, claiming, “Nazi salutes are indefensible.” Any time that President Trump or a Trump supporter makes a joke, CNN and the rest of the fun police in the mainstream media pretend that it was a literal statement carved in stone.

Drugs, dishonesty and deviancy aren’t even vaguely controversial for anyone on CNN’s staff, but show the slightest whiff of Trump support and CNN executives will act like they’re hosting an episode of The Apprentice: “You’re Fired!”

Donald Trump can’t lay waste to these losers fast enough. It’s about time.
