Pro-Trump Demonstrations Are Happening

For a long period now, it seems as if any time there’s been a protest or demonstration in the news, it’s been Liberals and Democrats marching against Donald Trump or for one social justice policy or another.

Conservatives are tired of hearing about angry progressives attacking police, smashing windows, destroying property and beating people up. It’s time for conservatives to take a stand and come out in numbers and show these fools who and what “the people” are really about (in a peaceful way, of course).

Fortunately, a new group called the Main Street Patriots is organizing nationwide “Spirit of America” rallies in support of new President Donald Trump, his policies and Republican viewpoints generally.

Debbie Dooley, one of the main organizers of the rallies and a veteran co-founder of the country’s Tea Party movement, says that “These rallies are inclusive, non-partisan, and open to anyone supporting President Trump in his efforts to bring back manufacturing jobs to America, put the security of our nation ahead of political correctness, improve our infrastructure, revitalize the inner cities and secure our nation’s borders.”

As opposed to liberal protests, these rallies are meant to be civilized and to show the country how the “silent majority” feels about the direction of the country under President Trump. The rallies will take place in cities and towns all across the nation on February 27 and March 4.

After the Women’s March on Washington, D.C. on January 21, the day following President Trump’s inauguration, Dooley said she received a tremendous number of calls asking her to organize events that would bring out people in equal numbers — especially women who voted for Trump. In fact, her cell phone rang so much she was forced to switch it off.

Dooley specifically states that the Spirit of America rallies are not Tea Party rallies; they’re definitely open to independents and Democrats who supported Trump (“Trumpocrats”) — people who she hopes will turn out in large numbers.

Dooley expects that informed and inspirational speakers will lead events in a number of different cities and that a wide array of people will listen to them. The national anthem will be heard, and entertainers across the musical gamut will showcase their talent. Dooley says the rallies will not be anti-immigrant, but will support local police forces and lawful immigration policies.

Participants are urged to check with their own organizers about homemade signs, but generally speaking, signs supporting Trump and his agenda are highly encouraged. Everyone working on the rallies is volunteering their time.

In Louisiana, a group called GatorPAC, founded by retired Air Force Colonel Rob Maness, is organizing rallies in that state in conjunction with Main Street Patriots. “I’m proud to lead the charge here in Louisiana to get supporters of President Trump to show their support of his policy agenda through these Spirit of America rallies,” said Maness, a two-time Republican Senate candidate in the Bayou State.

“Average citizens from across the political spectrum and all walks of life elected Mr. Trump, and we at GatorPAC are especially pleased to help him with his national effort to Make America Great Again and #DrainTheSwamp priorities in Washington D.C.”

Ralph King, a co-founder of the Main Street Patriots with Dooley and a Republican elector from the state of Ohio, says that “these Spirit of America Rallies are a continuation of the collective voice of Americans that embrace President Trump’s policies to put the American workers and citizens first once again.”

King believes that “the American electorate spoke loud and clear this past November”; now, it’s up to common citizens to show the media and the country that there are indeed great numbers of people who support Trump and that actually, the amount of people who are violently opposed to him and his policies are only a small minority of the country.

Already, rallies are being organized in Washington State, South Carolina, Ohio, New Jersey, Louisiana, Iowa, Indiana, Georgia, Colorado and Arizona. Anyone who would like to organize rallies in their own states, cities and towns can contact the Main Street Patriots.

Small rallies in public spaces are often allowed with no permits or fees required. The Main Street Patriots encourage rally organizers to start their own Facebook event pages to coordinate their groups and stay in touch with local media. Photographs and recording of crowd sizes are particularly encouraged!
