You hear about fake news and the bias of the mainstream media a lot. It’s easy to see in how they treat Republicans vs Democrats. It’s painfully obvious in every report they do. It’s also probably the least dangerous problem with modern media. The bias, as extreme as it is, represents a minor fright compared to the deeper rhetoric pushed by major outlets.
Conservative speaker and Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro recently tweeted on this topic. He highlighted four high-profile articles in major publications that all push a deeply racist narrative. What his tweet suggested we are about to fully explore. Let’s really examine these articles and see what they have to say. Here’s a spoiler: it’s all much worse than you imagine.
I Broke Up With Her Because She’s White
Our first stellar article is brought to us by the New York Times. Even for a garbage publication like the Times, this is trash. They actually gave the piece an award for “tackling difficult problems.” It basically boils down to this: for a black person, dating a white woman isn’t woke enough. Seriously.
There are two thousand words that dance around this concept, but that’s what it’s all about. It’s not so much that the author is racist of their own accord; they just need to conform to the racist demands of progressivism.
The logic is hard to follow, but it would probably sound familiar at a KKK meeting. Somehow, when a black man dates a white woman, he’s somehow hurting the dating pool for black women. Apparently, they’re all monolithically committed to only dating within race, so it’s not cool to take that away from them? You’re guess is as good as anyone’s here. It’s a mess.
Can My Children Be Friends With White People?
Yes, these are the actual article titles published by major outlets. This gem is also courtesy of the New York Times. It has nothing to do with the racism of society or progressivism. This is just a blatantly racist writer trying to push their propaganda on others, and it’s outright disgusting. This quote sums it all up pretty nicely, “I will teach them suspicion. I will teach them distrust.”
For context, this passage is from a black woman teaching her children how to interact with their white friends. More specifically, this is what she has in store for her son. She fully recognizes that racism is not inherent — no one is born judging others by the color of their skin. It’s an entirely learned behavior, and she’s teaching black mothers how to instill hatred into their children: through fear mongering.
In other words, she has determined that her children will never be part of a generation that bridges divides. Instead, she’ll punish white children — children — for the perceived crimes of their parents. Let’s not forget that the vast majority of parents of young children today were born long after the end of Jim Crow.
I’m an Asian Woman Engaged to a White Man and Honestly, I’m Struggling With That
These titles are really creative, aren’t they? We’re leaving the relative sanity of the New York Times and now discussing a publication by the Huffington Post. If you read this rag, you either have a strange sense of humor or nothing between your ears.
The entire article is practiced stupidity. It just outlines how this woman bases dating decisions on misplaced expectations of expectations of society. No, that’s not a typo. Simply dating around societal expectations isn’t dumb enough for her. She has to go a step deeper and place her own expectations on what those expectations will be, and then she dates based on that. It’s easy to follow, right? It’s no wonder she has multiple failed marriages.
Am I Finally Done With White Guys?
Our last exercise in progressivism comes from New York Magazine. Somehow, it manages to be the most disturbing, evil piece of word-filth in the bunch. The premise is that the woman writing it can’t date white men because Donald Trump is white. That’s not a joke.
Let’s pretend for a moment that President Trump is one-tenth has horrible as the left has painted him to be (which would be far worse than Hitler or Stalin). That would have absolutely nothing to do with any other white man in the world. This woman is so hopped up on her Trump derangement that she’s attributing the (perceived) sins of one white man onto the entire race. She can’t separate the actions from the ethnicity or skin color and assuming that all white men are party to the “problem.”
For those of you who have never read a history book, this is pre-genocide 101. First, you make up problems. Then, you accuse everyone of a skin tone of contributing to those problems. Then, you murder them all. She’s on step two.
Why were you subjected to all of this? We can’t let progressives get away with these things anymore. Really, we can’t let them get away with talking. That’s not a call to damage the 1st Amendment. Instead, whenever they spout this drivel, we have to call them out and shut them up.
All four of these articles are a celebration of racism. That’s not an exaggeration. They make outrageous racist statements and then revel in it. They encourage everyone to jump on the train, take America back to segregation and punish the white man wherever possible.
The left loves to say that the parties switched side and that Democrats used to be the party of segregation and racism but that all changed. The modern progressive puts that notion to the lie, on repeat.
These four articles are not special; they are not outliers; and they do not represent a fringe portion of the Democratic Party. Roughly one-third of Democrats identify as progressives, and some of this racist hate is only the tip of the iceberg.
When you hear that the left is full of crazy, hateful socialists, it’s not an overstatement. It’s what you just read in these articles, and only a relentless effort on our part will prevent the damage they wish to inflict on this world.
