The Left is Lying about Wealth Inequality in America

Bernie’s career is built on a lot of tall tales, but at the heart of it all is his claim that income and wealth inequality is the greatest threat in the world. He tells his followers that Americans used to be able to buy houses on minimum wage (this has never been true and housing is more affordable now than in any other decade). He tells them that income inequality is only growing and that left unchecked, it will give the rich infinite power over everyone else. He has created a mystical elite class that rules over our country with impunity.

Even worse, the next generation of Bernies is jumping on the bandwagon. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went on record saying that there is no upper-middle class in America anymore. Obviously, these are all lies. It’s just a giant scam to get votes from the uninformed.

Unfortunately for the Bernie brigade, the UN closely tracks income inequality, and they make their data publicly available. A group dedicated to tracking income inequality put the data together, and to their surprise, they found that on a global scale, income inequality has been shrinking for close to 30 years. Their findings are actually quite interesting.

The data dates back to 1800, and until the 20th century, almost everyone in the world was in poverty. There were aristocrats, but they were few and far between. Also, by modern standards, they were extremely poor too.

Incomes started to grow in the 20th century, but they completely exploded in the 50s. That’s also when income inequality began to take shape. You can see that the elites of the world were gaining income far faster than the poor, and that trend continued for decades.

Global income inequality peaked in the late 70s, and by the 80s it was in pretty fast decline. By 2010, there was no discernable income gap anymore. And, since 2010, the income of the global middle class has grown faster than any other group.

If you pay attention to this timeline, you might notice something. The rise and fall of income inequality seems to perfectly correlate with the rise and fall of mainstream communism. This is no mere coincidence. Global income inequality was a direct result of large-scale socialism.

There are some important things to note about all of this. First of all, global scales look very different from what we see in the U.S. Across the world, an income of $10 a day is middle class. At home, middle class is close to $100 a day. That shows you just how wealthy our country is.

Despite that, the United States has the largest combined middle and upper class in the world. It also has the best economic mobility in the world. These statistics further reinforce the inescapable success of capitalism.

Let’s put all of this in perspective. Lying for votes is unethical and immoral. It’s also extremely commonplace in our system. Promoting socialism for votes is something on another scale. There are few things in this world with a data set as conclusive as capitalism vs socialism. There is no argument whatsoever as to which of these works and which causes hundreds of millions of people to starve to death. Anyone willing to promote the system of starvation in order to get votes is sick, evil and stupid.

There’s no room to mince words here. The Bernie brigade is so dedicated to their ideals of socialism that they are ready to physically fight for it. Antifa isn’t a group of anti-fascists. They’re a group of pro-socialists. They are fully willing to kill for their cause, and if they win, killing is the only thing they will accomplish.

We can never give them a single inch. We can never tire of destroying their corrupt ideology with proven facts. This is literally a life and death contest. Don’t forget that.
