The Seriousness of Hillary’s Health Problems Proves the Mainstream Media’s Bias

On the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks in New York City, Hillary Clinton collapsed at a memorial ceremony being held near the Ground Zero site while trying to leave the event early.

Had her collapse not been captured on cellphone video by several bystanders, we might not have ever even heard about it, except on “conspiracy theory” websites, but because the video was captured and quickly uploaded to the web, millions of people now know that Hillary’s health problems are no longer a “conspiracy.”

In the clip of Hillary’s collapse, especially versions which zoom in and enhance details, you can see that Clinton initially appears wobbly while she leans on one of the ballards on the sidewalk curb while waiting for her armored SUV transport to arrive.

When it does, her handlers attempt to support her by lifting both of her arms, but her legs buckle as she appears to lose consciousness completely and nearly falls flat on her face as it takes three people to get her into the vehicle.

Zoom-ins of the video show a small metal article either slipping out of her pant leg or dropping from her hand (the Secret Service apparently picked this item up), and one of her shoes came off and was left on the pavement after her departure.

Clinton was taken to her daughter Chelsea’s multimillion-dollar condo to recuperate while the press were prevented from following her and were kept in the dark about her whereabouts for 90 minutes. When Clinton emerged from Chelsea’s building, she yelled out to reporters that she was feeling fine and that “It’s a beautiful day in New York!”

In what appeared to be a staged photo-op, a small girl ran up to Clinton, who hugged the child. Clinton was then taken to her home in Chappaqua, New York to rest.

Clinton’s collapse was the culmination of a number of incidents that have given rise to huge concerns for the Democratic candidate’s health in the wake of multiple articles on this topic appearing in “alt-right” media.

Rumors of serious problems related to Clinton’s condition have dogged her for months as cameras have recorded numerous incidences of her coughing fits on the campaign trail, many lasting for several minutes at a time.

At a recent outdoor speaking event in Ohio, Clinton was brought to a medical tent for 45 minutes, and a stretcher was wheeled out of a waiting ambulance apparently in a standby position for Hillary to use in case of an emergency.

Throughout Clinton’s earlier campaign period, her office had attempted to explain away the coughing as “related to allergies” and they weren’t questioned about the ambulance and the stretcher in Ohio. Mainstream news outlets pooh-poohed talk of the former Secretary of State’s health problems as “conspiracy theories.”

But immediately following the release of the video, Clinton’s campaign knew it had to provide some information to the press, so it reported that on the previous Friday (two days prior to her collapse), Clinton had been diagnosed with pneumonia by her doctor, Dr. Lisa Bardack.

In a phone interview conducted later on Sunday from her home in Chappaqua, Clinton told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that she had been attempting to “power through” the condition at the ceremony in Manhattan, but was unable to.

In the 24 hours following the incident, mainstream news outlets attempted to spin it as simply related to Clinton’s “pneumonia,” with next to no major papers or television networks using the word “collapse” in their headlines. Instead, the words “stumble” or “wobble” were used, and claims were made that the real reason for the event was heat exhaustion and/or dehydration.

Heat exhaustion is particularly improbable, as the recorded temperature at the time of the event was no higher than 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and it was actually one of the coolest days of a summer that has otherwise been quite sweltering in New York. There were no other reports of anyone else in the city passing out or collapsing due to heat exhaustion that day — Clinton was the only one, apparently.

Much televised news coverage of the incident pointedly cut off the video before the handlers attempted to lift Clinton off the sidewalk; you can see her a bit wobbly, but you don’t see her fall. This is a particularly egregious case where the mainstream media appears to be biased in favor of helping Clinton.

On top of all this, an interview of Bill Clinton by CBS’ Charlie Rose taped the day following the incident was edited so that the former president — who was asked about Hillary’s “dehydration” by Rose — replied “frequently — well, not frequently — rarely, on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing’s happened to her.”

However, in the version of the interview that was broadcast on the network (as well as the provided transcript of the video), the phrase “frequently — well, not frequently” is edited out.

Much of this incredible bias by the mainstream media has to be pointed out and lambasted immediately if Americans expect to continue to have a free press in the future. A poll taken in the last few days by YouGov of 1,910 respondents found that only 45 percent believed the Clinton campaign’s explanation of the 9/11 events versus 46 percent that did not.

Clinton’s press secretary Brian Fallon has stated that “In retrospect, we could have handled it better in providing more information. That’s on us. We regret that.” But that excuse may be too little, too late, as recent Gallup polling suggests that only 32 percent of Americans believe that the mainstream media is honest. Among Republicans, the figure is a mere 14 percent.

As for Clinton, her campaign said it would release “additional medical information” to “further put to rest any lingering concerns” but tried to claim that there are “no other underlying conditions; the pneumonia is the extent of it.” What the campaign didn’t say is that allergies don’t typically cause pneumonia, and pneumonia doesn’t typically cause people to collapse.

Speculation on various websites has included comment from a number of nationally-recognized physicians and neurological specialists, the majority of whom believe that Clinton’s problems are much more serious than pneumonia.

As Congressional physician Dr. Zuhdi Jesser says, “What she had was a syncopal episode. She passed out. That’s either cardiovascular or neurologic. Now, her team wants us to believe it is dehydration. She didn’t appear to be dehydrated and that doesn’t get fixed in 90 minutes. So, I can tell you that it really appears and if I let a patient with the condition of syncope leave my office, and not get admitted, and get evaluated immediately, that would be malpractice. So there’s something going on.
