Three White House Leakers Found: Soon to be Fired

For those who have been paying attention, it’s been eminently clear for some time now that the Trump administration has a serious problem with leakers. Insofar, we’ve largely been speculating about which among his high-level staff is responsible for this internal, inter-party espionage. We had our eyes on Priebus, Spicer, McMaster, Flynn and a few others. But there remains the glaring probability that many, if not most, or all of the leaks are coming from mid to low-level staffers, holdovers from the Obama administration.

These low-level leakers would be ideal, thinking on it from the perspective of a spy, to quietly release critical administrative information without catching anyone’s attention. Low-level leakers like secretaries, speech writers, interns, file clerks, go-betweens- you name it- could release information so easily that it seems like a grossly under-explored avenue by which to address the problem.

The Trump administration recently released an email to supporters entitled, “SABOTAGE.” In it, the administration said, “There are people within our own unelected bureaucracy that want to sabotage President Trump and our entire America First movement.”

At this time there have not been any announcements as to who specifically is being named as a leaker, but we think it is likely that those who will be held responsible are not big name players- otherwise, we think the names would be released readily. That, of course, may not be the case since we know that the President likes to hold his cards close to his chest. That’s one of the many important negotiating skills of his we admire.

According to a CBS report on the SABOTAGE document, “Officials within the Trump White House believe leaks of Mr. Trump’s conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are a “deliberate attempt” by officials who are holdovers from President Obama’s administration and are trying to damage the Trump presidency.”

The report also ‘confirmed’ that precisely three “leakers of classified information at the White House have been identified and are expected to be fired.” This, of course, is a legacy media report- which we interpret as suggesting that more than three verified leakers have been discovered by Trump’s team.

To date, leaks of sensitive White House information have been pouring out with very little apparently to hold back the flood. It seems hard to imagine that a high-level person in the administration could do so much damage of this kind without being discovered. Up until now, the administration has been constantly on the defensive as it tries to manage all of these leaks, and it makes little sense that someone like Priebus, or McMaster could be responsible for all of them.

Rumors have been circulating that Sean Spicer’s job may be in danger. It is unlikely that he is being fingered as a leaker, rather his troubles stem from his reactionary way of dealing with the press. Sean is seen as an ineffective but loyal representative of the administration. This is unfortunate, because- while he does have a tendency to panic behind the podium, he has been honest and forthright with the press. The sad fact is that being honest and forthright with the press in today’s political climate means being constantly under attack. It would appear that the pressure placed on him is simply too great.

Interestingly, Jared Kushner is under scrutiny. The leftist media and the left, in general, is painting the situation as a demerit for the Trump administration. Trump supporters, on the other hand, view Kushner as a globalist with suspicious ties to the recent and fishy French presidential election.

The tenor of the controversy is similar to that of the one surrounding FBI Director James Comey’s dismissal. The left didn’t like Comey because he suggested that Hillary is probably guilty, while at the same time suggesting that his hands were tied. But they suddenly fell in love with him after Trump gave him his walking papers.

But these are just more examples of the tribalism of the left. It’s not about what is being said and done, it’s about who is doing and saying it. This is the kind of plain-faced hypocrisy we’re dealing with.

In the end analysis, all of this is good news. It could well mean that the Trump administration is finally going to go after the low-level leakers still in the White House. It also throws into sharp relief the fact that everything Democrats do makes them look more insane and more corrupt. We believe we are witnessing the dramatic implosion of the Democratic party, and it can’t come soon enough.
