Trump Was Right Again: Proof of the Deep State

Do you remember when Obama laughed and told us that international interference in our elections was impossible? What month are we on now with the Mueller investigation?

How about when he made fun of Trump for suggesting that his campaign was wiretapped? How many actual spies have been uncovered as having infiltrated Trump’s campaign?

The left made the same claims and jokes about the deep state as well. They assured us that such a thing was impossible even after the IRS scandal and the embarrassment of an investigation into Hillary’s email server. Well, as usual, Trump is right again, and we have unquestionable proof. The New York Times did us the favor of making it their biggest story of the year.

By now you’ve probably heard news of the New York Times’s anti-Trump op-ed. It was written by a so-called member of the resistance, and it has some heavy implications. Now, fairness is important, so let’s take a minute to be fair. This op-ed is probably not what it claims to be. The true senior members of Trump’s staff have worked diligently to support him, and it’s unlikely any of them wrote this piece. That means that, at minimum, it’s an exaggeration. Knowing the Times, it could be an outright lie.

That said, none of us have any proof one way or another. We have little choice but to take the op-ed at face value, and when we do, it completely vindicates Trump. The left wants to believe it’s proof that Trump is deranged, but it’s actually quite the opposite. He has voiced complaints about the actions of a deep state working against him for some time. Now, we have a publication saying that he was right all along.

The op-ed clearly shows that members of Trump’s own staff are collaborating in their efforts to frustrate his agenda. They claim that his objectivity and refusal to stick to some of the failed elements of traditional conservatism makes him a rogue president.

That’s how they justify pushing their own agendas even though they aren’t elected representatives of the people. The op-ed goes so far to try and justify this conspiratorial effort to undermine our government that they call themselves the “steady state.” In reality, they’re admitting that they are active members of the deep state.

The Mueller Investigation

If the op-ed was the only evidence, it would still represent an unprecedented level of obstruction within our government. Sadly, it’s only one item on a long list of problems. The most public of those problems is the Mueller investigation.

Let’s all take a moment to remember the facts. This is an investigation that was founded on propaganda paid for by the opposing party and compiled by a foreign spy. It was then admitted to and accepted by a FISA court. How is this a thing?!

That’s also only the first step of many deep state actions that are all wrapped into this investigation. Senior investigators on the team were caught red-handed implementing their bias into our justice system. They clearly stated that they wanted to work to bring Trump down. Now, if he was a crazy dictator who was having people killed, that might be justifiable. Instead, he’s the president heralding a new age of peace and prosperity. They conspire against him because they don’t like the way he phrases things on Twitter. That’s the real truth here.

Media Leaks

So far, we can’t prove that the Mueller investigation is tied to the self-titled, deep-state author of the op-ed. The likely link between them are the hordes of information leakers within the White House, DOJ and throughout the federal government. In his first year, Trump’s office was plagued by more confidential leaks than any other president has seen in eight years. It’s off the charts.

The majority of these leaks include classified information, and that means that the participants of the “resistance” are knowingly and willingly endangering American lives to push their agenda: discrediting Trump. They are willing to contribute to the deaths of American people if they can make Trump look bad. This is very bad for democracy. Worse, it’s terrible for our republic and undermines everything that is America.

A Long History

You didn’t think that was it, did you? The deep state didn’t magically come into being when Trump was elected. They certainly ratcheted up their operations to undermine him, but they have been at this for a long time. The IRS started targeting Republicans almost a decade ago. I’d like to remind you that there has still been no accountability on that front. Obama literally abused the IRS to target political enemies. His comeuppance? A Nobel Peace Prize and multiple speaking and book deals.

Since we’re doing this, let’s not forget about Benghazi. Four Americans were left to die because their presence in Libya looked bad for America leadership. On paper, they were allies with Obama, and he and Hillary virtually signed their death certificates for the sake of their campaigns. If they would do that to a friend, how far would they go against an enemy?

Really, this is just a cliff’s notes or greatest hits compilation. The deep state has been working against America and her interests for at least a decade, and they have only grown bolder and more powerful. Once upon a time, they had to operate in secret because their very existence is unconstitutional and illegal -not to mention dangerous.

Now, the active participation of mainstream media and the outright derangement of the entrenched left has allowed them to step out of the shadows.

Make no mistake, this is an act of open rebellion, and the left is proud of it. That’s how they feel about the president with more economic, international and security success than any other has seen in their first two years. That’s how they feel about the potential of long-term conservatism in America. That’s how they feel about losing any scrap of power they can find.
