If you want to know how deeply the garbage mainstream media and the Democrat Party are in cahoots, look no further than the latest anti-Trump hit piece that hit The Atlantic last week. According to the dumpster fire media, Trump said awful things about World War I veterans and refused to attend an important ceremony because he didn’t want to get his fabulous hair wet. Sounds totally legit, right? Especially knowing President Trump’s deepfelt heart for the troops and his longstanding adoration of America’s fighting men and women. This was just the latest fake news hit piece to try to take down a duly elected president, but it is very informative to study the makings of it.
First, the anti-Trump piece was written by a weak, lollypop-sucking neocon liar with a long track record of being a liar-liar with flaming pantaloons. His name is Jeffrey Goldberg.
Back in 2002, Goldberg wrote an important piece in The New Yorker titled, “The Great Terror: In northern Iraq, there is new evidence of Saddam Hussein’s genocidal war on the Kurds – and his ties to Al Qaeda.” This was a bald-faced lie.
Saddam Hussein was definitely a bad guy. None of us were sad when a horde broke into an Iraqi jail and lynched him a few years after Jeffrey Goldberg wrote that piece. Well, except for Jeffrey Goldberg. Because he knew that he was personally responsible for every single death that resulted from the Iraq war.
Hussein was a Baathist Islamic ruler, much like the guy running Syria these days. That means that he irked the Sunnis in Saudi Arabia and the Shiites in Iran. And much like the dude in Syria, Saddam Hussein was definitely not waging any sort of genocide against the Kurds. Nor did Hussein have any actual ties to Al Qaeda. But Jeffrey Goldberg’s super-awesome anonymous sources in important Washington jobs assured him that it was true.
Jeffrey Goldberg literally lied America into the Iraq War, prompting him to write a follow-up piece in The Atlantic in 2010 titled, “Yes, Yes, I Know I Started the Iraq War (plus – I might be a thumb-sucking moron whose partisan antics make it seem like you should never believe anything I write ever again, but I know that I am shielded from consequences for my lies and incompetence and will still have a job for many years to come because I have the right politics).”
Actually, the parenthesis part was not in the title.
And then last week, this same super-reliable “journalist” (probably an incompetent CIA hack) wrote yet another super-reliable piece in which he claimed that Donald Trump called America’s fallen war heroes “suckers” and “losers.” Yeah, okay, Jeffrey.
The fake news hit piece was published on Thursday evening and get this: A liberal Political Action Committee (PAC) called “Vote Vets” aired a pre-produced anti-Trump TV commercial on PMS-NBC’s Morning Joe program the very next morning. This is a literal impossibility if you’ve spent five minutes working in the TV news industry.
News stations make most of their advertising revenue during election years. They sell ads on a quarterly basis and in some bigger markets, they sell the election-year advertising slots up to a year in advance.
Never mind the fact that “Vote Vets” could not have possibly written a script, hired a video editing crew, shot the video, edited the video (which takes hours), and then stopped by the offices of PMS-NBC first thing in the morning to knock on the door and see if – LO AND BEHOLD! – they have any free advertising slots that same morning. This could literally never happen at any modern TV news station.
Unless, of course, Vote Vets or the Democrat Party bought the ad slot months in advance and pre-coordinated the entire hit piece against Donald Trump with The Atlantic and their serial Liar-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg. This was a stunning and brazen level of fake news, even for a station, a PAC and liberal liar like Goldberg who we’re all used to slinging fake news.
This fake story about Donald Trump was crafted and put together months ago, and then the entire mainstream media ran with the story and had ads about it running during the commercial breaks a few hours after it was first reported. You might even call it “collusion” between the Democrat Party and the fake news media, in order to influence the outcome of an election, if you were cynical enough.
