The last words of the moderate Republican as the Democrat Party marches his wife and children out to the ditch: “But I have a gay nephew! And a Guatemalan nanny! And I have always been personally abhorred by Donald Trump’s tweets and the way that he has undermined our institutions! I’m on your side!” If you think that this pathetic chain of excuses will save you when they come for your family, you are sorely, painfully and fatally mistaken.
There will be no middle ground in the ideological battle that is now under way in America. We’re now advancing into the all-or-nothing stage of the fight. I wish this was not so. That’s why I’ve been warning about what’s coming next for quite a while here in these pages. It would be great if we could lower the national temperature and go back to our carefree lives, but one side of the battle doesn’t want that. The Democrat left has grown so arrogant and powerful in its control of our institutions that it doesn’t need or want any moderates around. If you disagree with the commie SJW controllers on any point, you are an enemy in their eyes and you must be purged.
That’s why we’re seeing so many squishy, cowardly members of Trump’s administration stab him in the back right now. They’re under the misguided illusion that the Democrats will allow them to live or have a career or breathe free air. But the days when you could be that type of jellyfish Republican and still live your life are over. (See also: Mulvaney, Mick)
Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichai, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Jack Dorsey and Tim Cook took steps last week to ensure that the President of the United States can no longer communicate with his followers online. The psychopathic arrogance of this small group of ideological oligarchs is pretty breathtaking. Not that we haven’t been warned that this day was coming for years.
Let this sink in for a moment: The Commander in Chief of our military, the president – our Chief Executive of our nation – has just had his free speech rights as an American stripped away by a handful of unelected rich deviants in Silicon Valley. Right now, Donald Trump can’t communicate with us on Facebook, Twitter and a host of lesser venues because of these guys. Tens of millions of lesser-known conservatives are being locked out of their accounts this week as well. And some of you guys laughed at me when I stood up for Alex Jones.
Parler, the suspiciously popular “alternative” to Twitter, lured President Trump and millions of other Americans onto their platform recently. Yet all along, Parler was renting its hosting services from Jeff Bezos at Amazon’s Web Services. Bezos took Parler off the internet entirely over the weekend, because the owner refused to bow down and kiss the ring. Tim Cook booted Parler out of the Apple Store and Google took it off the Google Play store.
The writing on the wall should be pretty obvious to anyone who thinks that this could even be cleared up by amending Section 230: No dissent from the Communist Chinese woke SJW narrative will be allowed. You think you’re going to be allowed to express your “moderate” views in the public square? What makes you honestly think that? What is it about moderate Republicans that makes them always believe the crocodile will eat them last?
Democrats will issue Articles of Impeachment against Donald Trump once again this week. Unlike last year, when impeachment stood no chance of passing in the US Senate, the Articles will likely pass this time. We have too many moderates in the US Senate who believe that they are still going to have their jobs once the left keeps tightening the screws on the rest of us. How many Republican Senators have you seen in the past few days who said, “Oh, well, gosh, that icky insurrectionist terrorist attack on the Capitol last week was the worst thing ever, an attack on our democracy, blah blah blah it’s all Trump’s fault?”
They’ll vote to impeach him. Just you wait.
If you think your moderation will save you in the end, I implore you to revisit your assumptions about the people we’re dealing with. Has moderation accomplished anything in the past 30 years when it comes to dealing with the Democrat Party? Does Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or Ilhan Omar sound like someone you can reason with through facts, logic or appeals to human decency? Really?
Jesse Kelly made a great observation on Twitter last week, although I expect he’ll be purged from Twitter any day now: You’re going to need more than a little rebel in your heart for what’s coming next. Amen. (And not A-women.)
Here’s another question: If someone wanted to cause a civil war in America, would they have done anything differently than Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Sundar Pichai, Jack Dorsey, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Tim Cook in the last week?
