Democrats Want a Destroyed Economy and an Unpopular President

When it comes to undermining President Trump, the Democrats can’t seem to walk and chew gum at the same time. Before the coronavirus tanked the entire world’s economy, their big hope was that a recession would help them destroy America’s booming jobs economy and blame it on the President.

So, was the coronavirus epidemic a dream come true? At first, they probably thought so. They tried to insinuate President Trump reacted slowly to the Chinese Bat Soup Virus (in China they just call it “virus”).

That one didn’t fly because President Trump reacted quickly in January restricting travel from China. As he did that, old-bat Democrats like Joe Biden accused President Trump of xenophobia and racism.

Of course, we know that Joe just loves the Chinese. They took great care of his son Hunter, who hitched a ride on the Vice President’s plane and worked out a billion-dollar deal through a Chinese money laundering scheme. “Nothing illegal there, folks,” said Joe and his mainstream media echo chamber.

If Democrats can’t pin the coronavirus pandemic on President Trump, how can they point to a slumping economy and say, “See? We told you this President was bad”?

They can’t. You know Democrats have lost an argument when they either shut up or change the subject. Then they drink their cup of Kool-Aid that results in collective amnesia.

On the other hand, Democrats are probably wondering why a slumping economy and possible recession doesn’t erode the President’s popularity. The answer is that they miscalculated—again.

President Trump, his remarkable and competent Vice President Mike Pence and their team of experts have responded magnificently. In fact, President Trump has had more positive public exposure leading the country through this crisis, while the House of Representatives led by the Wicked Witch of the West Pelosi has—again—not been up to the challenge.

Even when Democrats get a huge government spending package and short-term economic bail out, they can’t seem to accept yes for an answer. They are congenitally unable to rid themselves of their inclination towards pork barrel spending on pet projects like Planned Parenthood and climate change tax credits.

Note to Democrats: Inserting poison pills in legislation with the intent to make the President look bad doesn’t work with President Trump. He doesn’t care how he looks. President Trump is no “read my lips” George H.W. Bush, who lost reelection over a broken campaign promise that Democrats helped him break.

You only have to watch President Trump’s unscripted gut-check approach to challenges to see that he won’t be sabotaged by ankle biters like Chuck Schumer and his band of chittering spider monkeys. And he accepts absolutely no crap from the fleas that infest those simians: the mainstream press.

In the meantime, Democrats are probably telling themselves, “None of this would be happening if Joe Biden were alive.” Where is Joe? He has been totally absent from this crisis. He has no plan to get American through this pandemic other than to say President Trump is doing it wrong.

Asking an alpha guy like Donald Trump to stay silent and patient while doctors dither and whine about a shortage of face masks is like asking Old Faithful not to spout on schedule. It’s not going to happen. So, if you’re going to be on President Trump’s team, you’d better be productive, honest and loyal to the mission.

Otherwise, plan on meeting the same fate as Democrats during the next election.
