When there are no national elections, November races can be remarkably dull. You’re just looking at state and local stuff, and a lot of people tend to give those very little attention.
That’s why billionaire and Democrat party mega donor George Soros thought he could secretly buy the race in Monroe County, New York. That’s where Sandra Doorley was running for re-election of the office of District Attorney.
In order to push his pick through, Soros spent $800,000 on a media blitz against the Republican candidate. That might not seem like much if you’re thinking in terms of national elections, but for a DA race it’s a HUGE donation.
It also didn’t work. Doorley won with 56 percent of the vote.
It’s fun to revel in Soros’s failure, but $800,000 is absolutely nothing to this billionaire. He’s going to try this same tactic again next year, and he’ll probably do it in multiple races.
We need to understand why if we want to keep his influence under control. Sure, he likes being a puppet master who controls elections, but this isn’t just about ego. Soros has a strategy, and Doorley’s history can help reveal it.
Doorley first took the office of DA in 2012, as a Democrat. What makes her particularly troubling to the left is that she took the red pill back in 2015, and she has run as a Republican ever since. She has also taken a notably tough stance on prosecution. In other words, she’s the opposite of any politician in San Francisco.
This is the bigger issue. The left wants to make crime legal (because they think the purge is a documentary?). More accurately, the left wants to bribe votes out of criminals. It’s why they are pushing to give all criminals the right to vote.
It’s also why Soros is cleverly going after DAs and other local officials. The majority of criminals in the country are not federal criminals. If Soros can swing enough elections, he can keep a lot of criminals out of jail. With their voting rights in tact, they just might be inclined to vote for the Democrats who saved them from justice.
None of this is hard to follow, but it’s incredibly important. The strategy is wholly viable. Between weak borders and weak criminal justice, the left has the opportunity to bribe millions of voters to go blue. Their efforts so far have seen a lot of success.
Doorley’s victory is great and worthy of celebration, but the left is going to use billionaire donors to attack many similar elections next year. Only a concerted effort from the right will be able to stop the blitz and maintain justice in our country.
